Steve was great, definitely knew his stuff about the history of beer and involved everybody in the experience. When you purchase the tickets it says there’s snacks, expect tuc crackers and cheese.

Super fun, didn’t know there was so much to know about beer! Intimate setting - total in group was 5 people, instructor was very knowledable - I would recommend!

We really liked Philip, who was the tour/beerguide. He had a very good knowledge of beers and their history. Of course people get loud and the acoustic made it a bit hard to hear it all but that’s the only reason why it got 4 stars.

The guide was very knowledgeable and gave the group a good insight of the process of making beer in general and an overview of Czeck beers. The beers that he presented represented different beer types, but some of them were quite similar, and none of them had any wow factor - I`m sure that there are better beers out thre and that the selection of beers can be improved.

Steve was snarky/sarcastic/opinionated throughout the entire evening. Too many beers. 4 or 5 would have sufficed. I would NOT RECOMMEND a tour with him.

Everything went so easy and in a fun way! Our tour guide was Phil! He's just the best! A lot of jokes, fun time with him! We also learned a lot! The guys at the brewery Sergey and Ivan took care of us there! Those three made this tour and our day just perfect! Thank you all! We loved it! 👌😍😎

Based on previous reviews I expected this to be a more personal beer tasting event with an emphasis on learning about beer. Instead we experienced an impersonal tasting in a large group where our host was performing something more akin to a comedy presentation of Czech beer trivia. If it was funny or not, I leave for someone else to judge.

This was a two hour inaccurate speech about beer making; lame jokes, and self promotion on the part of the “guide” from New Zealand named Steve. The beer was all bottled beer. Beer tasting took place in a basement of a restaurant that guide did not even know the name of, and we were rushed out upon completion. Horrable experience! There are so many other craft beer place that are far superior!

Our guide Steve was very charismatic and animated. Gave us a good insight into beer while making some jokes and having general chit chat. Nice and intimate. Very nice beers. The only issue was the fact that he was quite vocal about our time constraint which I understand but it was off putting while trying to enjoy the experience. If you like beer and like having a new insight into it for fun it’s worth it.

This was an educational and fun experience learning many aspects of
Czech beer! We sat at a cozy table at a local restaurants and learned so much about beer. We also had some fun laughs! I enjoy wine, and I am not a beer drinker, but I totally enjoyed learning about Czech beer and actually developed an interest and taste for Czech beer after this experience.

This tour was a small group beer tasting with participants ranging from 20-65years of age. It was held in a small pub while it was closed and it was fantastic! The tour leader (Caren) was excellent and a font of knowledge. Beers were great and available in large supply. Would definitely suggest doing it.

Rob was our tour guide and he had so much stories to share about the history of beer etc, 7 drinks consumed with some snacks, was really good, definately recommend if you are visiting Prague

Great value for money, you get to try a great variety of beers on the tour and learn all that is involved in the production of said beers.Location is very central and easy to locate.
However, despite pre booking and arriving on time, as a group of 8 first impressions weren't great - tour guide Paul not too happily stating that the tour was over booked. Definitely a well informed tour guide who knew all that was needed to know about the beers of Prague and Czech Republic but we found him to lack a little in enthusiasm/interest for giving the tour itself.

My daughter went on this with her boyfriend and they both said it was absolutely fabulous and great value with a good selection of beers to try and lots of great facts. They said their guide was fantastic and even showed them some places to go when the tour had finished. Highly recommended.

Tour guide knew his stuff and was entertaining. Learned some things about Czech beer and its history. Only visited one bar tho disappointing. As compared to Munich Beer Tour: four bars, a museum, and a restaurant.

Firstly, the tour was quite good - guide was friendly and knowledgeable on the subject and we definitely enjoyed the seven different brands of beer on offer. It was overall a very nice evening.
What we didn't like was the fact that tour company informed at the very last minute that all slots for the time we wanted was booked and we can only do the next available time slot which was 2 hours later - this was despite us booking the tour more than one month in advance! We were naturally miffed about the fact, but Viator was professional enough to offer a full refund on our complaint later. If not for this inconvenience, I would surely give this one 4 stars minimum!

Excellent tour. The tasting took place in a small tavern prior to opening for the evening. We had the back room to ourselves. Our tour guide provided a thorough background to Czech beer making and tasting. The 'samples' were not the little cups you get in US beer tastings, these were 10 oz glasses of the 7 we tasted. It made for an interesting walk back tot he hotel.

Excellent afternoon/evening. Givvy was a wealth of knowledge of beer and it's history. I definitely learned something. He also gave us some recommendations of other places to try and they were well worth it. Great tour.
