Wonderful

This is a thoughtfully planned tour. The chosen restaurant was a highlight. It is a local chef with a menu that can vary to use fresh seasonal ingredients. We actually booked tour without the lunch but ended up eating there because Ondrej is in contact with the chef earlier in the day and could ensure the food selection fit the diet restrictions. It was amazing! Take the lunch option! It is just far enough off the man square that we would have missed it on our own. The stop at the small farming village gives extra dimension to life in Czechia that you miss the cities. It also allows for a drive through the beautiful countryside off of the highway and a visit to a local ceramic shop. It's actually pretty hard to find locally made, reasonably priced mugs in Prague so I loved this. Cesky Krulmlov itself is a stunning fairytale town viewed from the castle and same for the castle as viewed from down in the town. We were there before castle interiors opened for the season which was disappointing but also when you're trying to time your visit to miss crazy crowds this is just what happens

What an absolutely lovely experience. It was our first time in Prague and Petr, who did the tour was informative and extremely knowledgeable. An amazing experience!

Alena Dušková was our guide and was absolutely excellent! She expertly guided us and explained the significance of sites we had on our list to see, while also sharing with us hidden gems that made for a very rich experience. The highlight was a visit INSIDE the astrological clock after she recognized the clockmaster arriving to check on the clock mechanism. She asked, and we were able to see the inside of this amazing machine. The experience of a lifetime! Great way to get an understanding of how WW II impacted Prague. We visited the locations where events took place and our guide was prepared with pictures and the history. Our guide, Matt, was incredible. He went out of his way to cover for the initial day and time we had scheduled as the initial guide got sick. He was fantastic.

Very educational and colorful!

Our guide, Betty, was able to tailor our private walking tour to see sights that were further apart since we were good walkers. We even took a tram to get to one area to explore. Afterwards, she pointed out a couple of good restaurants where we could get a bite to eat. Her passion and love for the city shines through with her stories and knowledge of art deco and cubism architecture.
