We did a Prague food tour with George (Jiří) and he was a great guide! The food tour included us, a couple from California, and a family of four from Australia. George provided cultural and geographical information about Czechia along with descriptions of the outstanding food. We visited four different venues to taste traditional Czech foods and beverages. We started at an elegant cafe, where we tasted signature Czech dishes. Next was a local beer hall (with typical bar snacks and lots of good Czech beer). We finished the tour with two different dessert venues. We were stuffed at the end! George followed up after our tour with recipes for lots of the food we sampled. Highly recommended!

Jiři (George) was a fantastic guide knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. Loved the local knowledge he brought and shared about being Czech in addition to the great stops we made on the food tour. You will not go hungry physically or mentally on this tour.

I typically go on a food tour when I travel to a new city so I have been on many. This is by far one of my favorites. The food choices were amazing and George was a wonderful host. He was so engaging, and knowledgeable. He clearly enjoys his job. Would highly recommend.

This was one of our first tours on our three week trip in central Europe. We had a blast there was so much food and walking and wonderful conversation. We learned a lot about Prague. We also learned a lot about history and what they like to do… Drink beer!

As we walked through the different parts of Prague with Leona, not only did we learn about the types of food and how and why the people of Prague came to make certain dishes, we also discussed the social and cultural aspects of the country. We stopped to see landmarks around the city. We had an excellent conversation about the differences and similarities between our two countries regarding food, family and lifestyles. Leona was an exceptional guide! She is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about many aspects of her country. In addition, it was fascinating to hear a first person account of how the communist takeover affected her parents and grandparents. She is truly a gifted conversationist. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

At first I was worried that all the reviews for this tour were so positive. I thought it might’ve been too good to be true. However our experience with Jiří (George) was truly exceptional. His passion and enthusiasm is infectious. His knowledge of Czech food, history, and his knowledge of the world are all second to none.
The food itself was very very good and we walked away having eaten just the right amount. This is a good sign for a cuisine that can sometimes be a bit heavy. Of all the places we ate during our time in Prague, I felt the restaurants on this tour were a step up in their quality.
Jiří seems to accomodate for all sorts of travellers. There isn’t too much walking and he’ll adjust things for the group to make sure everyone has the best time possible.
This is an absolute must do, if you’re wanting to learn about the local history, culture, and the of course the food! We’ll sign up to do it again next time we’re in town.

This is my second time doing this tour with Jorge. My daughter and I enjoyed it so much last November that we brought the rest of the family back to do it with us again in June! The restaurant and food/beverage choices are all perfect, delicious, and authentic. He only took us to authentic places where locals eat and drink; no touristy places. At both the establishments and during the walks there, Jorge gives an engaging and informative recounting of Czech history, culture and insights. He is a great storyteller! He brings a laptop to show pictures of what things looked like then compared to now on the exact spot where you’re standing. I cannot recommend this tour with this company highly enough!

She did a great job of combining history, food and personal information about how she and others live in the Czech Republic. The various combinations of food and drink made us appreciate the culture even more. Also we left the tour with a greater appreciation of Czech history and how it has survived thousands of years of oppression, occupation and peace! The Czech people have always loved their peace and revel in it now.

Prague delicious food tour was really worthwhile and our guide George (Jiri) was fabulous. We tasted lots of savory and sweet foods, beers, coffee and liqueur. George was super friendly, very knowledgeable and interesting and made the tour so enjoyable. And we loved that it was a small group covering a few special places 😁

We visited a great variety of restaurants. Was very well planned and all the restaurants were ready and welcoming. The food servings were adequate and a good representation of chek food.
'George' was really fun and taught us lots about the food and the history and geography of Prague.
