What To Expect

Meet your guide and small group in front of the Charles Bridge in the mid-afternoon and get ready for a roughly 2.5-hour wine-tasting adventure.

Follow your guide on foot through the city as they explain Prague's wine culture and history. Find out why Prague was once known as the City of Wine, and see spots where wine has historically played a big role, or has a significant part in modern-day life.

Taste five local wines, each harvested and made in the Czech Republic. Listen as your guide goes into detail about each type.

The tour ends in the late afternoon.

Had a fabulous time! Michel, our guide, provided wonderful tidbits about Czech wine/wine history! The local wine bar (Wine Not) overlooked the Vltava River and was a great atmosphere to partake in Czech wine and also a tasty charcuterie board! Even brought a few bottles home with us! Highly recommend this tour!

A Must Do in Prague!

The venue was changed from a walking tour & tasting due to our guide’s recent surgery. However, we had a delightful wine tasting with a lively discussion of wine history in Czech Republic. Mike was delightful and very good at imparting his knowledge to us. We enjoyed the wines and dis over Ed a grape previously unknown to us. Would recommend highly. It was a great experience. We are older and did not want to participate in the first hour of walking. We contacted Mike and he was very accommodating to meet us at the wine bar. Andrey did a great job and really knew about wine! The first part of the tour was a walk through key areas of the city while highlighting the impact that various people had to the wine culture along with architectural highlights of the city. The tour ended at a location that was great for wine tasting. Would definitely recommend this tour to wine lovers- it was a great afternoon!

Mike was an outstanding, knowledgeable and engaging guide who took us on a fascinating walking tour of old Prague followed up with an hour in a local wine bar, Wine Not. During the walking tour portion, he pointed out and described to us the relevance and importance of specific places to Czech wine history and culture, and it's industry. In Wine Not he, with the good natured assistance and expertise of their sommelier, took us through a range of beautiful Czech wines. The tour was a wonderful combination of vino culture and history.

We had an amazing time on our 2.5 hour wine tasting walking tour! Our guide, Mike, was extremely knowledgeable about the history of wine in Prague. We loved learning about it. The tour ends at a lovely wine bar for a tasting. We liked the wine so much we bought a few bottles to enjoy during our stay! I highly recommend this tour! Especially if you’re a wine lover!

Micha was an amazing tour guide. He walked us around the city while sharing all his knowledge about wine in Prague. He is well informed and a great person to speak to. After going around the city, we went in the wine bar with a vast selection of wines and the bar tender there was also very knowledgeable about the wines. They also crafted the wine selection to our taste. Awesome experience!
