This is a wonderful bike tour. It was fun and we learned a lot about areas of Porto we wouldn’t have otherwise seen. I highly recommend booking if you are in good shape and enjoy cycling.

Pedro was the nicest tour guide ever. We learned a lot about the history of the city and how the city has changed. Was a great experience.

This 17 mile bike tour was just what we were looking for. I loved the mini climbs and cutting through the parks. TIP- before starting the ride play with the gears for your level.

Fun and easy ride around Porto. Knowledgeable guide provides information and insights into Porto past and present. Nice mix of old and new. City streets, bike paths and parks.

Biked along the river to the beach area. Then through a city park. There was only one moderate hill.
Javier had great information to pass along. It’s a wonderful way to spend 3 hours in Porto!

Terrific bike tour from the harbor to the Atlantic ocean. Pedro was a fun, enthusiastic and knowledgable guide. We loved seeing more of the city and learning a bit of history along the way.

Family of four tour Porto - along river/beach, through parks and cycle tracks. 3 hours on electric bikes. Great guide who was friendly and informative about local history and culture. Paced well with break at beach cafe. Definitely recommend.

Pedro was a great guide and was very knowledgeable and gave us insight of Portugal during our ride. The bikes were very easy to ride and had great power so even after our 3 hour ride, we were not tired. Would recommend

We started off excited for our first e-bike tour through Porto. Upon arriving, were greeted warmly and shown to our bikes. Our guide, Helio introduced himself and asked our names. It was a small group- only 4 adults including myself and my husband. The other couple was friendly and interested in learning more about Porto, as were we. We have been on several e-bike tours in other cities such as Montreal, Lisbon, Auckland and have always enjoyed them. Sometimes the weather is not ideal, the bikes may not function perfectly, or there are others in the group who are unsafe. But I have NEVER had a tour guide who was completely uninformed, patronizing, easily angered, and had little regard for our experience/safety/curiosity. From the start he told us he does not talk about himself and not to ask him any personal questions. Though somewhat odd for a tour guide it is understandable. . When he stopped he asked us if there anything we would like to know. If we asked any basic questions about the local housing, the economy, the food, the River, the schools- he acted visibly annoyed. Mostly he just shrugged his shoulders and said “I don’t know”. When one of the other people attempted to answer my question, he growled “don’t ask me questions you already know the answer to”. It made all of us extremely uncomfortable and afraid to speak. The scenery was beautiful and the bikes were in good condition.

We are truly sorry to hear about the negative experience you had on our bike tour and appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback. We apologize for the way the interaction with our guide, Helio, unfolded, as this does not reflect the standard of service we strive to provide to our guests.
We understand that our guides play a crucial role in the overall experience, and it is concerning to hear that the guide’s behavior did not meet your expectations. Our team is trained to be friendly, informative, and attentive, and we regret that this was not the case during your tour.
We will take immediate steps to review the situation internally and provide the necessary support to Helio to ensure that incidents like this do not occur again. We aim to provide enriching, safe, and enjoyable experiences for all of our guests, and we are disappointed that this was not the case for you.
We are glad to hear you enjoyed the scenery and the bikes, and we hope this does not completely overshadow your impression of Porto. If you would like to discuss your experience further or have any other questions, we are happy to assist.

We had a great time in spite of some rain. Our guide was great and he was very responsive to all of us. He was very knowledgeable & engaging which made the afternoon pleasant & informative.

We had a wonderful ride along the river and through some amazing parks and pathways. Perhaps because of the rainy weather, there was just the two of us with Philip our guide. This tour was informative and interesting plus once the cloud lifted (and it did eventually) we saw a part of Porto that was stunning.

We were guided by Helio who was very knowledgeable with a dry sense of humour. We are still not sure whether everything he told us was true but was great fun. Definitely recommend the tour which gave a brief view of the historic centre but concentrated on the route along the river estuary, onto Matosinhos and back through some lovely parks.
Gordon_L, Sep 2024
Helio was an excellent guide, very knowledgeable and good fun and brought us on a wonderful route out to the coast

It was such a great way to see a different side of Porto. Also our children of 19-21 loved it. The guide was very fun and had many stories to tell. It was relaxing and the bikes were very good. The breeze was perfect but make sure you put sunscreen in the summer. Porto is up and coming but there’s a lot of construction going on, so this bike tour is perfect to get you out of all the noise and shows lots of different neighborhoods and parks.

We had an incredible experience on our private bike tour in Porto. It's difficult to find something that a 6 year old boy, 12 year old girl, and a grandma can each equally enjoy, but this fit the bill.
It was a lovely tour of the Douro River down to the beach of the Atlantic Ocean. The stops along the way were informative and our guide did an exceptional job of knowing when my grandson had heard enough and moved us along. There was plenty of time for self initiated stops for the kids to play on different playgrounds. The pastry shop we stopped at was spot on in delivering a delicious custard tart.
I would recommend this to for all ages. It was wonderful.

Filipe was an amazing tour guide on our 3 hour bike ride in Porto. He is very knowledgeable, helpful and friendly! We enjoyed chatting to him while he cycled through some histrionic and beautiful sites. We have done bike tours in other cities in Europe and Filipe was the best host we have got so far! Highly recommend.

Helios gave us a great insight into the history of Porto and lovely route round. Bikes in good condition and safe. Even stopped for a custard!

Felipe was the best tour guide we could have asked for to start porto trip! He was super friendly and had alot of information to share!
Annmarie_R, Jun 2024
Our young guide (Philippe) was very informative and had a great knowledge of Porto and Portuguese culture. He was very interesting and made the tour fun. Would recommend the electric assist bikes as it’s quite hilly and makes the cycling easier and more enjoyable. We saw a lot in the three hours. Exactly right.
Koral_A, May 2024
We had a lovely morning tour with Philippe. The electric bikes worked seamlessly, the staff at the shop were friendly and efficient and our tour guide Philippe was knowledgeable on the city, history and happy to share stories about the culture and language. Despite Porto being hilly, we took a tour down the river, to the coat and port so it wasn’t hard cycling although there were other options to choose from. We’d happily recommend to anyone wanting to experience real life in the city.

Fun bike rides on 3 different parts of Istanbul on two continents, separated by ferry rides with great views. Mustafa was very knowledgeable and friendly. The snack and lunch breaks were great! The coastal rides were the best part, a nice change-of-pace from busy touristy places.
John_H, May 2024
Really fun cycle ride out to the coast with Philipo . Enthusiasm of our guide added to the experience.
Debra_K, May 2024
The route past the Foz, where the Duoro meets the Atlantic, was beautiful and the ride along the coast then through the city park was relaxing and gorgeous. Our guide, Sofia, had packed apples and water for us. She was patient and answered all our questions.
Kathryn_G, May 2024
This tour is a beautiful loop along the river and coastline of Porto and then on the way back, you wind your way through a gorgeous park. Philippe stops along the way to give you interesting facts and information about Porto and Portugal.
Steven_L, Apr 2024
Our guide Arthur took us through several unique and interesting areas of Porto while giving an overview of the history. He was always cognizant of where the group was and kept the group at a pace that was comfortable for all participants
jennifer_d, Apr 2024
Nice and relaxing ride along the water out of the crowded city. Our tour guide was great, friendly and knowledgeable. A little breezy by the water, so you may need a jacket.
Kristy_P, Nov 2023
We thought we were on a tour of the important sites in Porto. Instead, we saw the river, the Atlantic, a tourist trap gift shop in a park with on one in it, and a few sites "over there." Don't make the mistake of taking the non-ebike tour.
Todd_M, Oct 2023
