This review is long overdue—nearly a year—but our experience has stayed with me ever since. Paulo was an exceptional guide and truly made the day unforgettable. He was incredibly knowledgeable, personable, and passionate about the Douro Valley, sharing insights that made every stop feel meaningful rather than just another winery visit. One of the highlights was the very first winery he took us to, which we later discovered is featured in Theo of Golden. It was such a fun surprise and reinforced just how thoughtfully curated this tour was. The scenery was breathtaking, the wine was outstanding, and the pace of the day was perfect. It never felt rushed, and Paulo made sure every detail was taken care of so we could simply enjoy the experience. Since returning home, I've recommended Paulo and this tour to every friend I know who has traveled to Porto, and every one of them has thanked me afterward. Breathtaking views of the Douro Valley - a must see. Paulo was our guide and he was outstanding. He provided us with a lot of interesting information, brought us to spots with magnificent views, and he was a genuine pleasure to spend the day with.
