If you want an authentic Porto foodie and wine experience do this tour!! Mayinka took us to mainly family run spots most would just walk by. Plus we stuck our nose in a few unexpected places like churches, the market and stores we just had to stop at. It never felt rushed and we were literally all over the city giving us time to digest and sight see before our next experience. Had a fantastic time!

Daniela was an excellent guide, knowledgeable about the food and local culture. All the food we tried was superb and it was lovely to go to places with a local feel to them. If you want a good insight in to Porto you can find no better guide or tour.

Flavio, our tour guide, was delightful! We enjoyed sampling different Portuguese foods and wine(even local beer at one of the stops). The food is equivalent to a meal — we were full and satisfied after the four hours!

We had an amazing time on this tour with our lovely guide Daniela! I was travelling with my partner and my sister, and we luckily were the only guests on the tour, meaning we had a really intimate private tour. Daniela was so friendly, informative and we all felt genuinely so comfortable with her - it was like being on a tour with a friend. We loved visiting the local spots and learning about the history of each dish, and the I'd gladly go on another food tour if they're anything like this!

Well firstly our tour guide did not turn up on the day of our booking. It took us a while to get hold of a customer service agent who offered us the tour on the following day. Fortunately we were able to do that, however, the other couple waiting could not. The next day, we were greeted by Flavio, our be new tour guide for the day. He was very pleasant, experienced and knowledgeable. We enjoyed the variety of restaurants and some delicious food and wine. The experience somewhat made up for the first day.

This tour was extremely disappointing. The first restaurant didn't expect us so we weren't very welcomed and waited for a sampling of their cheeses. The 2nd restaurant was suppose to provide a gluten free option for my celiac daughter and she was given a bowl of mushrooms. The rest of the tour was disrupted by a large graduation parade and we stood around for 20 minutes while our tour guide spoke to his boss to see what to do. We were offered a refund but only received a small portion back. I messaged the tour operator several times to resolve the situation with zero response.

On the day of your visit, an unexpected graduation parade caused major disruptions citywide, affecting transport and access to our planned stops. Our guide did their best to adapt quickly and keep the experience going under difficult circumstances. We also did our best to accommodate your daughter’s gluten-free needs by coordinating with venues in advance, though we understand this may not have fully met your expectations. Regarding the refund, we explained the situation—caused by circumstances beyond our control—through the booking platform, and issued a partial refund as a gesture of goodwill.
