The best surfing lessons in Porto

It was such an amazing experience even for the very first beginners. The teacher has very humane attitude and is willing to help anyone. I wish him and his school to thrive and accomplish all goals, he is genuinely a nice person with great heart at the right place. I wouldn’t personally go for anyone else. It was my first surfing experience and I couldn’t be more happier choosing him as my tutor.

Absolutely wonderful experience, I highly recommend!! Armando was a fantastic instructor, I had never surfed before and he helped break everything down in a way that was easy to understand and I was able to stand up on my first day. The overall experience was so wonderful and if I'm back in Porto I'll definitely be booking again :)

A friend and I booked this experience and it ended up being a private lesson with just us. Our instructor picked us up from the centre of the city (a really easy location to find) and drove us to the beach. It ended being super empty and the waves were perfect for us as beginners. He was so helpful, kind and knowledgeable, bringing us a pastry from his favourite bakery. Both my friend and I were able to stand up during our first ever surfing experience! Total experience was over 3 hours with the pre and in water portion lasting around an hour and half. I’d highly recommend if you’re looking for a surfing experience. And finally, thank you so much to our instructor!

Excellent surf lesson at a quiet, non-touristy beach

We had an absolutely fantastic time learning to surf on this day trip. Our guide took us to a local beach that was beautiful and nearly empty! The waves were calm but strong enough to get a good ride. The equipment was super nice and the wet suits seemed really high quality. It was our first time trying to surf and we were both able to get up. All in all, great instruction, a really nice and helpful guide, and we had an absolute blast. I highly recommend this tour and if I were here longer I’d book it again.

Mein Freund und ich hatten das Glück, nur zu zweit am Surfkurs des Porto Surfclub teilzunehmen, wodurch unser Surflehrer Armando sich richtig viel Zeit für uns nehmen konnte. Seine Tipps waren sehr hilfreich und er ist individuell auf unsere Bedürfnisse eingegangen. Er konnte mit Leichtigkeit den Spirit und Vibe des Surfens vermitteln und es hat super viel Spaß gemacht. Mein Freund war vorher noch nie surfen und konnte es am Ende nach nur einem Tag, richtig nice :) Auch die Gespräche im Van waren super angenehm und wir konnten noch einiges über die Stadt lernen. Hätten wir mehr Zeit in Porto gehabt, hätten wir nochmal einen Kurs gebucht. Absolut zu empfehlen :)
