- Take in consideration that the land rover is a vintage car, built for the mountains but not for comfort- some parts of the ride can be uncomfortable.
- The kayak activity is apx. 1h30min.
- The path is downhill and uphill, terrain can be slippery and you might need to scramble over some rocks.

We had such an incredible time, highly recommend this tour to the national park!! We got to go off-roading, kayaked to a beautiful spot, and had an amazing lunch at a local spot. The tour guides were so friendly and made the trip absolutely worth it :)

I had the best time! The tour covered several spots including kayaking and hiking, all very well organised. It was very well paced - it never felt like we spent too much time in any one place and at the same time it was not rushed, and we could take time to take everything in. Mariana was amazing, always very helpful and kind.

My husband and I had a fabulous day with Ines! She is so kind, fun and helpful. She is a bright personality and we enjoyed the day with her! Kayaking, swimming and hiking to the waterfall were great! Definitely wear your good traction shoes and bring a change of clothes or dry tee shirt. The day ended with a relaxing drink overlooking the water. We loved the experience!

Such a beautiful, invigorating adventure! We kayaked, savored an incredible lunch, took breaks for coffee and jaw-dropping views, drove up and down winding mountain roads, and plunged into an ice-cold swimming hole beneath a waterfall with our vibrant and knowledgeable guide Inês.
Highly recommend this day trip for those who love being active in nature and escaping the crowds in Portugal’s beautiful cities.

Our guide, Nuno, made the whole experience really memorable! He was full of enthusiasm and energy and was great company throughout the trip. We enjoyed all the activities but for me the waterfall in particular was spectacular! We had the whole area to ourselves. We were able to climb behind the waterfall and jump into the pool! The water is so clean and clear there. The kayaking was also great, again, we had the whole lake practically to ourselves! I had great fun trying the SUP too. I would highly recommend this adventure! If we come back to Porto or the surrounding areas (which we very likely will) we will come back again to Peneda-Gerês and do the hiking tour to take in the breathtaking views in the park. If you’re very lucky, Nuno will be your guide and you’ll have an even better time!!!

A truly enriching experience, shared with a small and very friendly group. The guide was really kind, attentive, and very respectful. The tour was charming and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Despite the unfavorable weather, we absolutely have no regrets!

A full day exploring the Peneda Geres National Park. Kayaking and swimming in the lake followed by a great, hearty lunch. Afternoon we walked to a waterfall and tranquil swimming spot. The opportunity to wander around the mountain village of Fafiao and plant an oak tree sapling was a real highlight.
Alejandro our guide struck a great balance of offering information and allowing us to enjoy the calm and peace. I’d highly recommend this trip.

We had the most amazing day in the beautiful Geres national park exploring by Kayak and Land-rover. Nuno was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and made sure that we all had the best day. We saw so many stunning views in the park, and yet the day didn't feel rushed at all. For me the hilight was swimming in the gorgeous pool under the waterfall. I would absolutely recommend Nuno and this tour to everyone.

My son and I had a perfect day in Peneda-Gerês National Park with Cata as our guide! The kayaking, swimming, and waterfall hike were the perfect mix of adventure and scenery. Everything was planned flawlessly, including delicious local food and wine at a traditional Portuguese restaurant. Truly unforgettable, we couldn’t have asked for a better experience or guide!

We had such a wonderful day in a beautiful view up north to kayak for over 1 hour. Then we got to try paddle boarding. We stopped along the way for a morning snack. Then lunch was included in our trip. We then went up to the national park and did a short hike to such a beautiful waterfall with the clearest water to swim in. Just a warning the climb to get down to the falls was a lot of stones, dirt, twigs making it to be extra careful. Mariana told alot of photos to give to us. The winding road to come back to Porto is a bit much so if you get car sick I suggest sitting in front. This is a trip I highly recommend if you want some adventure

Inês was an excellent host/guide. She brought excellent character and vibes. The experience was beyond what we expected. We really appreciated the nature, historically, and cultural aspects of the tour. The kayaking and swimming were relaxing and the tour around town really completed the experience. This was one of our top activities from our trip to Porto.

We had such a great time today! It was a small group of just 8 and was really cool (and bumpy) to ride in the Range Rover.
The kayak trip was very nice and wasn’t too short or too long.
Lunch was very good and included wine and dessert too.
We went to the short hike after lunch with a waterfall and a lagoon to swim. The water was so nice and refreshing! I wanted to stay there all day!
Our guide, Mikas, was very friendly and nice. We had a great day with her!

WE had the best guide- Diogo. He was fun, friendly and warm and very knowledgeable and knows everyone!. Enjoyed the kayaking and beautiful views. The car ride was rough- they packed it completely full so we were a bit cramped. The hike was not a hike -it was a 3 min walk to the waterfall from the road. Would have liked an actual hike but maybe not enough time. Lunch was great and again we had a great guide-who clearly loves what he does!

Excellent experience, great tour guide and beautiful scenery. We were able to spend a good amount of time at each stop and it was not too physically strenuous. Nice for a relaxing but active day out, which is a nice change from the busy streets of Oporto !

We've had a great guide, Pedro. Made us feel comfortable right away and kept us updated about the weather and options for the day. Kayaking was possible but would've been really cold. Pedro discussed the options with us and our group. Instead of kayaking we've walked more and enjoyed Pedro's nature knowledge. Obrigado!

Alejandro was a great guide - friendly and attentive. This was such an awesome trip - highly recommend! The views and nature were spectacular. This company seems to have authentic relationships with some of the communities in the park (they cooked us delicious food). We managed the hike to the waterfall in chacos (on a sunny day). Would go again to check out the other waterfalls if we had the time!

We had an incredible day on our tour, thanks to our fantastic guide, Di, and intern, Ana. Di was not only knowledgeable but also kept us entertained with a great playlist as we navigated the scenic back roads of Braga.
After a 1.5-hour drive from Porto, we arrived at a stunning lake where we kayaked and had the lake to ourselves due to the rain. The experience was breathtaking, surrounded by nature’s beauty. Following our kayaking adventure, we enjoyed a hearty three-course lunch with verde vino!
Our adventure continued with a brief hike up the mountain to a hidden waterfall. We had the place to ourselves. Di, our guide, was informative and spoke excellent English, ensuring we felt safe and comfortable throughout the trip.
From the moment we met our guide in Porto, we felt like we got more than our money's worth. The trip was well-organized, with a convenient café stop along the way. We loved kayaking together and had a blast chatting with both Di and Ana. The ride back was just as enjoyable.
Overall, this tour exceeded our expectations, and we can't recommend it enough. We left wanting more and are already planning our return to Porto for another adventure!

Terrific day out in the national park. After a 1.5 hour drive from Porto, we arrived at the first stop: kayaking on a beautiful lake and an opportunity to swim in a secluded beach area. From there we had a hearty 3 course lunch and set off up the mountain for a brief hike down to the waterfall. The six of us in the group were the only people there and got to bathe in the crystal clear and refreshing water. Marianna was an incredible guide - very informative, excellent English and a very safe driver. Highly recommended tour!

Fun day doing a short canoe trip and dip in the (cold!) water, plus lunch, plus a hike down a hidden trail our guide took us to, with a waterfall and beautiful scenery. Only wish we could have kayaked a little longer, but a great day overall!

This is an amazing experience! We feel like we didn’t pay enough for the trip, and we would have happily paid double the amount for what we did. The trip starts in Porto, where you can meet or even be collected by your tour guide. They then drive to pick up others joining you on your tour and then it’s a 2 hour (ish) drive to the kayak, with a little stop at a cafe on the way. The tour guide was excellent while driving, and made us feel very safe and comfortable, as well as giving us lots of knowledge of the area. We then went kayaking, which was so much fun! We went in a double kayak as a couple but single kayaks are available too. We travelled around the river and lake and were blown away by the natural beauty surrounding us. We chatted to our tour guide and new friends on our tour the whole time. We stopped the kayaks at a small beach and swam in the lake, which was so much fun. We even got to have a go on the tour guide’s paddle board, which was also really enjoyable! We then kayaked back to the car for a short drive through some rough terrain (a fun experience!) to the restaurant. We were served lots of different Portuguese dishes and our vegetarian and gluten-free diets were well-catered for. We were given green wine, a local drink, and dessert! We were amazed this was all included in the price. We then drove another short distance to a short and fairly easy hike to a hidden waterfall and pool. We swam and jumped in the pool and our tour guide showed us some more hidden areas. We had the best time here and didn’t want to leave! It’s absolutely gorgeous at the waterfall and we were stunned by its natural beauty. We then unfortunately had to leave, but the journey back was comfortable and enjoyable as we were chatting to our tour guide and new friends from our tour group, who we then went out with in the evening! This experience was incredible and we want to come back to Porto just for the tour! We couldn’t recommend it enough.
