Amazing Tour of a Beautiful Park

This tour was amazingly beautiful and really showcased the natural beauty of Portugal. The day of our tour was pouring down rain but our guide Rosario was so a master at adapting the tour to the weather conditions and still ensuring that we had an incredible day. Rosario was personable and the ultimate host.

A great way to see Peneda-Gerês National Park

Carlos was very friendly and informative. He also was able to pick us up at our accommodation and was on time. We appreciated his attentiveness, expert driving skills and being flexible based on our interests. The views of the park were amazing and we definitely appreciated Carlos’s knowledge. We wouldn’t have wanted to drive the very narrow and curvy roads on our own. The lunch was also delicious!

The entire day was a blast! Our guide Maia was a total joy. He greeted us with a big smile in the morning, and the day got better from there. We were a group of 7, and everyone had a wonderful day. He made multiple stops and never made us feel rushed at all. He felt like part of our group all day, and we will look him up again if we are ever lucky enough to return to Portugal.

We had a great day with Miriam and loved seeing the beautiful countryside of Geres National Park as well as learning more about the Portuguese history and customs. Miriam was a pleasure to be with and the tour was exactly what we were looking for to add to our experiences in Northern Portugal.
