What an amazing experience! The tour was really interesting, full of fascinating stories, history, and little details we would have never discovered on our own. Our guide Deepal was fantastic – friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what she does. It was so much more than just a walk through a cemetery. We learned a lot, had a great time, and really enjoyed every minute of it. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip to Paris! Highly recommend this tour – absolutely worth it!

An Interesting Unique Tour Not To Be Missed

This tour was incredible our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and kept us informed of his ETA at the start of the trip. This location is incredible and I felt like we were taken to graves I wouldn’t have found going solo. Plus that stories we learned were fascinating. This location does have steep hills and uneven ground to walk on, but our guide always allowed for slower guests to get around before beginning any talks. Definitely wear comfortable shoes fit for a lot of walking. This is a must for anyone visiting Paris.

I recently took a an extended tour of the catacombs with a small group and for those visiting Paris i must say that out of everything i had seen and did, this tour must not be missed. Aside from the vast collection of stonework and bones that are as beautiful as they are macabre, throughout the tour getting the history and philosophies of the city above and seeing how that shaped and defined this space was wonderful. Our tour was led by Saeed and he was very knowledgeable, well spoken, and had a good sense of humor. You can tell he has a genuine passion for leading this tour, anyone looking for a great guided experience would do well to have him as their guide. And for those desiring photos he was more than willing to assist in taking some pictures as well.

I have waited my whole life to get to experience the catacombs. Our guide, Anthony, was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. I loved how he remembered everyone’s name and made sure to make everyone felt included. Not many guides do this so it made the tour extremely fun. The restricted section was super cool to see and def worth it!

This was a lovely experience! Our guide was friendly, knowledgeable, passionate, and easygoing. We had a mixed group of abilities, ages, and nationalities, which he handled with aplomb and generosity. The cemetery is quite large, but we felt he did a good job showing us the highlights, the unusual and even a few things our group was specifically pleased to see. A GREAT way to spend an afternoon seeing a different side to Paris.

Igor was wonderful! So personable and charismatic, an expert tour guide. Take this tour with Igor, you will not be disappointed!! We really enjoyed the tour a fascinating history of the site - from the use of the quarry for stones to build Notre Dame to the ossuary where 6 million people are buried.
