I have to repeat what a previous customer said in her review. The performers and the show itself were amazing. However, arriving on time, as recommended when reserving was a waste of at least 30 min of our time. The show didn't start until an hour after we were told to arrive and the food was meh. I would recommend going but I would advise not to show up until at least 30 min after your scheduled time.
Fun night! I like that you learn a little about the history of sumo, the rules of fighting and then get to watch a few matches. Everything was lively, interactive and high energy. Even the fights with volunteers from the audience were fun to watch!
The sumo part of it was really fun. You get a bit of history, and the sumo performers were really funny. It was also cute to see people get to challenge them, especially the kids.
I would NOT recommend getting there early. Get there just before 5:30. You’ll have to sit through ands and they aLeo started late. Also, the bento box was almost inedible. All of the food was cold and just not tasty. So just get a normal ticket if you can and eat the amazing food options in Dotonbori instead.
Excellent fun - don't miss it.
Lots of info about sumu and the show was brilliant. The wrestlers then took on challengers from the audience - didn't stand a chance but they were very kind to them all.
Loved the experience. Buy front row seats. Haven't laughed so much in ages. Really good historical perspective first about the Sumo before the fights and audience participation. Such a great fun night.
This sumo show was an experience! I entered my ticket in the raffle at the audience participation part and got selected. So much fun! 10/10 recommend
