Really enjoyed our bike tour of Osaka - the best bike tour we have taken in all of our travels. Our tour guide, Matt, was extremely knowledgeable. He clearly has a love of Osaka and Japanese culture that shone through in the stories and details he shared during our 13 mile ride around the city. Bike lanes in Osaka are well marked and it was fun to move from bike lanes to sidewalks to bike paths throughout the day - a very zen and easy way to travel around the 3rd largest city in Japan. Lunch at the curry place also hit the spot. Highly recommend this tour!

Great guide and nice tour! Good cycling tempo. Because of the bad weather forecast the tourcompany changed it in to a halfday tour. Great that they anticipated!

This was awesome!! We saw so many places in Osaka on very comfortable bikes with a great guide, Maurice. His explanations of the places we visited were very informative. We were given time to explore each place and had a delicious lunch.
The directions to find our meeting point were spot on. Highly recommended.

Had a great day riding around Osaka with Takuma. Saw many different areas completing a loop of about 20km, riding at a leisurely pace. The sushi lunch that was included was delicious.

I love doing bike tours the first day or so in a city. Its a great way to get a lay of the land for the rest of the trip and this one is no different. Our tour guide was very informative and took us to many of the key areas of the city. Would highly recommend

Matt was a terrific tour guide. He’s an American who has lived in Japan for at least 15 years. He’s a Historian and a theatre guy- a perfect combination for this. He was great at accommodating bikers at different skill and strength levels. Also he’s pretty funny and just a bit irreverent.

Great way to see Osaka in one day! Tour guide Matt was informative about local culture and history and biking was a fun way to cover and get a feel for the whole city quickly. Lunch place was fantastic (one of the highlights) and biking was a perfect pace and hit all of the city highlights. Would highly recommend!

The best ever experience to explore the city! Our guide Matt was very knowledgable about history of Japan and he wanted to share all the gems he knows. I felt safe riding in busy Osaka streets as Matt took care the group. I would recommend this tour to everybody who wants to discover Osaka in a bit different way!

This tour was great. We all had a fantastic time. Matt took us around the city and gave us a history lesson at many different places. The bike ride was easy, and we got to see a lot of different sights. I would recommend taking time to look around while you ride. The first half of the ride I was focused on keeping up with the group instead of enjoying the sights.

Good way to get around Osaka, such a cycle friendly city. I would have liked to stop more regularly and for our guide to point out a few more things. When new to a city, everything is interesting and we did finish earlier than expected so I think there was time. But it was a great tour.

We had an awesome day outside and seeing all the sites of Osaka. Active and educational! Our guide ikura was an excellent teacher on culture and history! I highly recommend. They also had a bike for our smaller 14 year old that fit perfectly. Quite a flat ride too so not very hard biking.

Had an awesome day cycling around Osaka with Matt. We had a small group of 3. Although he’s American, he has vast knowledge about Japanese history. The bike ride was pretty easygoing. Only some slight hills at Osaka castle. He took us to some places that I probably wouldn’t have found on my own. Lunch at the curry place was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend taking the tour with Matt.

A great way to see Osaka and learn about the history of the city. Yuki was a superb guide, he was knowledgeable and ready to answer any questions we may have had. It was great to see the more local spots too, and get a really tasty lunch. The pace we went was nice and comfortable, never felt too rushed or tiring. A fab tour, I totally recommend!

We enjoyed riding and learning about the history of Osaka with Mayco. She was very friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Hearing directly from a local who was able to share recommendations and tips was great. The stops in between the riding made the day go by quickly and Marco ensured that we were well hydrated throughout the day. I would really recommend everyone to take this tour at the beginning of your visit. By far the best way of getting to know Osaka / Japan. We were very lucky to get Matt who is super knowledgeable and really knows his way around. I have recently started to get more and more curious about the history of Japan and Korea. What made it even more enjoyable is all the historical background that Matt was able to share. He told us he is a history buffer. The cycling is not too bad. I think if you are reasonably fit, you should be able to handle it. I took the tour on a Sunday, there was a triathlon and on top of that, the hordes of tourists to maneuver around by Matt handled it like a champ. Thanks Matt!

Overall the tour was wonderful! Our tour guide was Matt and he definitely knew what he was doing. Very knowledgeable and experienced and he gave us all a great time. Told us a lot of history which was fascinating to know, loved the jokes along the way as well. Seeing all the attractions on the way was cool. Bikes are comfortable and easy to use. A different experience riding through crowds of people but all the more fun and really testing my bike skills. I love bike riding so this was an enjoyable experience.

We had a great time exploring Osaka on the bicycles, together with Matt. We've visited several important locations and in every one of them Matt explained us exciting facts about the place, its history, its uniqueness, cool stories around it and many times also some personal touches, which made the experience really immersive and interesting. Matt has great vibes and kept cheerful atmosphere throughout the ride. We enjoyed all the time, and even though we've covered quite a distance, it was not so difficult - instead, it was really fun!
