Mt Vesuvius transport

Pickup point changed a few times till last hour. No guides available for tour of Vesuvius. Uphill walk to summit for a km or more. Cost of tour was essentially for transport to vesuvius. Have to purchase own ticket for entry previous day.

Hello dear customer, the guide is not included in the tour's included services, along with the purchase of tickets, which is an additional cost, listed, that our organization will cover for your ticket purchase. The Vesuvius Natural Park closes online sales 15 days before the date; it would not have been able to purchase the ticket the day before on its own. Therefore, we are advancing them for you. External guides other than volcanologists are strictly prohibited on Mount Vesuvius, which is why volcanologist guides are present at the entrance to the crater and offer explanations to visitors. This is included in the ticket price, as we specifically mention in the tour notes we sell. Unfortunately, you missed this.
