Also, we can pick you up in Rome city center or airports to go to Pompeii ruins for 2 hours and the drive to Positano or Sorrento. - We highly recommend hiring a private archeological guide in the ruins of Pompeii. ask in the note for this optional service extra. - the driver will wait for you and take care of your luggage while you visit the ruins for 2 hours and then keep driving toward your destination. * This transfer it's only in Naples City Center. It doesn't include Naples-Afragola Train Station. If you want to go in Naples-Afragola Train Station there is an extra of 40€ more to pay in cash to the driver.

Your one-way transfer starts with pickup from Naples or
the Sorrento/Positano area by a private air-conditioned vehicle with onboard Wi-Fi.
Your driver collects your luggage and welcomes you aboard. Then, relax on the stress-free journey to the Pompeii Archaeological Site, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Listen to your driver tell you about the history of the ancient Roman city during the drive.
On arrival, head to the ticket office and purchase your admission tickets (own expense). You have about two hours to explore the open-air archaeological site at your own pace. If you've asked for a guided tour option ahead of time, you'll take a guided tour (added expense).
After Pompeii, complete the last leg of your journey to Naples or the Sorrento/Positano area.

Our driver Ludovico was there to greet us at the Naples airport and took great care of us during our transfer to Sorrento via Pompeii. He is a great driver and made sure we got to our destination safely. I appreciated how thoughtful he was and made sure that we caught all the sights heading to Sorrento. I’m sure we would have had lots more conversation but we were extremely tired from our flight.

Great trip. We communicated with Ludovico our driver via WhatsApp and he was waiting for us at Naples train station. He took charge of luggage and we arrived in Pompeii in 30 minutes where we started our tour with Rosa the private guide arranged by trip/Viator. Amazing experience! Rosa was fantastic - knowledgeable and went at our pace. From there about an hour drive to Positano with Ludovico pointing out sights and stopping at overlooks along the way for photos. A really great transfer/experience. Highly recommend.

Roman (our driver) was amazing! Spoke multiple languages and perfect English for us to understand. He even translated for us with locals. Picked us up in Positano in a very Mercedes Van. It was a beautiful drive along the coast then through Sorrento to get us to Pompei. He arranged an awesome personal guide for us to visit Pompei and then brought us to an amazing spot for lunch before dropping us off ant our destination in Naples. All in all an excellent experience and superior service! Grazie!!

This was an awesome experience, and I’m so happy we were able to fit Pompei in before our travels to Positano. While people can spends hours in Pompei, we loved spending 90 minutes on that very hot day at the end of June. Our driver got us as close as possible to our hotel in Positano, so we had very few stairs we even needed to climb. It was a win-win day and experience for us!

Our driver Christian was very friendly and gave some tips on places to visit while in town. The ride was about 20min to Pompeii and then an hour and half to Positano. One of our family members wasn’t feeling well and he was very accommodating in trying to help! Highly recommend!

I wish I remembered the name of our driver, he was an exceptional communicator, arrived early & drove professionally (not crazy like the other Italian motorists). He was very helpful in plotting out our timeline and even walked us into the bustling train station to make sure we knew where to go and what to do. Highly recommend!!!

So convenient. We were met inside the train station by the driver who assisted us with our bags. He pointed out things along the way. Prior to the trip we were contacted by the company and encouraged to get a private guide through Pompeii. Rosa was great. Provided so much insight. A perfect addition to the activity. This drive is quite curvy and the driver was well versed.

Our driver was awesome and so helpful. We accidentally got off at the wrong train stop in Naples but he was so cool about it (I’m guessing it happens often) and less than 30 mins later he was there to pick us up in a clean & spacious van with cold waters for all of us. We enjoyed our tour of Pompeii - I am so glad we took their suggestion to pay extra for a private guide to take us around Pompeii for a few hours, as the park is so much larger than we imagined! It was well worth the extra money and we learned a lot. The drive to Sorrento was pleasant despite a ton of traffic. Highly recommend this group if you need to get from Naples to Sorrento and want to stop in Pompeii on the way. It was the perfect way to break up the drive.

Highly recommend this transfer from Naples to Positano. Marco, our driver, was on time to pick us up in Naples and drove us to Pompeii. He offered lots of information about Naples and Campania as we drove to Pompeii. Our drop off in Pompeii was smooth, and he was waiting for us and the end of our visit. We paid an extra 40€ to stay an additional hour in Pompeii. (This was verified multiple times by the company, which was appreciated so there was no surprises). The drive to Positano was very smooth and Marco stopped to take photos of us at a scenic look out. He was an excellent driver and we felt safe the entire time despite the very narrow and winding roads. We will hopefully return to Italy in the future and will definitely use this service again.

It is clearly written in the description of this product that the private guide service is optional, and you requested this "extra" service from me.
