This is a scam. This was extremely disappointing. We arrived 10 minutes before the scheduled start time, but no one came to pick us up. We were left stranded with no communication or support, despite having already paid. Completely unprofessional and, frankly, like a complete scam. Avoid this one.

Tour starting time is 15:00, pick up time is 14:30. You arrived at 14:50 at the pick up point. So basically you did not arrived 10 minutes before but 20 minutes late… We called you and text you many times. There was no answer until you understood you missed the shuttle bus. Anyone who read this review, please aware the pick up is 30 minutes before the tour starting time. This information is written very clearly on your confirmation email 🙏🏻 If you miss the shuttle, you miss the tour. So please be on time at the meeting point and check your messages.

Pickup instructions were clear and precise; Roberto and his team were very helpful and friendly throughout the entire experience. The horses were beautiful and friendly, adding to the wonderful experience. The turnaround point halfway through provided gorgeous views of the city and the bay while Roberto gave us a small history lesson about Vezuvio. He also took many pictures and videos of my group throughout and sent them to us afterwards for no extra charge.

The people were nice but they don’t treat they’re horses well, they had my wife on a half blind limping horse and we were riding for an hour up a mountain, and my horse was also limping and missing a shoe.

Really fulfilling and unique experience. You basically climbing the mountain with the horse. The route is steep up and down but definitely worth it as you will get to see the spectacular scenery along the ride! Host were friendly and tell us the history of this mountain.

My wife and I did many excursions throughout our week long Mediterranean cruise, and this was by far our favorite. Roberto (and Antonia) were incredible guides and hosts. Pickup centrally at the Ramada was very smooth and easy, and the comfortable van ride to their ranch was short, but beautiful. Nobody in our group had rode a horse ever (or at least not for a long time), and it was no problem at all. The horses are VERY well trained, and Roberto and Antonia were great guiding along every step of the way. The ride up to the viewing spot on the volcano goes through a national park and some gorgeous terrain, and the photos others have shared don't even do the view justice. Roberto shared some history of the city and area as well, and lots of opportunities to take pictures. After the ride back down, he was kind enough to share their family's homemade wine, which was delicious as well. It was an unforgettable experience with breathtaking views, and is appropriate for ANY skill level with horses. THANK YOU Roberto and Vesuvius Horseback Riding!!

We had the most amazing morning doing this activity.
We got picked up on time and all details communicated really clearly ahead of time.
The horse riding was suitable for all levels of experience (one person in our group had never ridden before and had a great time).
The hosts took lots of photos and videos which will make for great memories of a great day- perfect way to experience mount Vesuvius

The Vesvius horseback riding was an amazing experience. Roberto and staff did an amazing job guiding the horses through some steep terrain and making sure our kids were safe and enjoying their Vesvius adventure.
We reached our peak and were introduced to an incredible view overlooking Naples, and provided a brief overview of the last volcanic activity from 1944.
Although it was a brief adventure it was a fantastic family activity to escape the usual tourist packed areas of Pompeii and Herculaneum. I would highly recommend this activity to fill a couple hours in your day or a quick adventure off a cruise.

This was an amazing authentic experience. My favorite part of our trip by far. It was just our family and my two ten year olds were supervised as they rode their own horses. I felt very safe with the instructors guiding them.

I never rode a horse before, but Roberto and Antonia made it happen. It was an amazing experience , and I loved my horse Isabel. Such a sweet soul that I will never forget.

Starting from very comfortable pickup to great English speaking host and then a beautiful ride in the forest up to mount Vesuvius with a beautiful view of Naples.

The guide is excellent fun to work with full of fun facts and doesn’t waste time very attentive
He picks you up in a comfy air conditioned van and drops you back off for your convenience, the horses are very well trained and the view at the top was priceless
After the ride he gave us garden fresh tomatoes and some home made bread with the homemade wine

It was a really nice experience ! The hosts were really kind and attentive to you during the whole “promenade”! Also it was very convenient, as we were picked up from near the train station near the old town center. The horses were cute and nice 🐎🐴 A really nice experience that we recommend, if you want to see nice forest nice and landscape and see the Mount Vesuve from a different perspective.

Hi, the tour starts at 09:00 and the pick ups are at 08:30. This information is written very clearly on our page, also the confirmation email you receive. We waited for you until 08:45 but you did not show up. There were other people on the tour who were on time and didn’t want to wait anymore. At this point we have to respect their decision. You opened 7 cases against us on Viator but you were rejected on all because the information is correct and you missed the tour. Your reservation is accepted as a no show.
People reading this review, please note that you must be on time at the meeting point. It is not a private tour. There is a group of people. We are having great time with the ones coming on time :)
