Incredible experience! So well thought out. Our guide Maddy and the driver Lorenzo were fabulous! The walk is more of a hike than a stroll — moderately strenuous, particularly with current heat wave. Bring proper footwear.

This was a great excursion! The climb to the top was a bit steep so perhaps that could be communicated a bit better. Also the shuttle ride up is on a winding ride of course so maybe a warning for those with motion sickness would be in order. However, our guides Alesia and Roberto were exceptional! The commentary during our walk through Pompeii was quite interesting. We also were allowed to visit the museum which was a definite plus!! And not to forget the extra delicious pizza and limoncello that we enjoyed - definitely five stars!

Martina, Ira and the driver were amazing amd made the trip fun. Ira was very informative. I would have preferred an all English tour instead of English amd Spanish which I feel would have given us a few more minutes of free time and to take photos.

Fantastic tour! Our guide Martina and driver Pasquale were excellent, very organised and informative. Our local guide at Pompeii Enrico was fun, engaging and had a wealth of knowledge. Very interesting day. Tip for future for tours… Pickup is outside Starhotels Terminus, arrive about ten minutes early and listen out for your name as you are split into groups.

Do not book tours with HP Travel. Their service is appalling.
This tour was advertised to go to Vesuvius first followed by Pompeii, which we wanted specifically. However once we had borded the bus, the guide informed us we would be going to Pompeii first with no prior notice.
There was no guide at Vesuvius despite the tour description specifying an "alpine guide".
This was also advertised as a small group tour with a maximum of 27 guests. Out group has over 40 people.
The tour operator refused to take responsibility for any of their falsified claims.

The guide Teresa was great for Pompeii very knowledgeable and provided a lot of context given the 2 hours we had we felt we got a great overview and for the walk up vesuvius It was beautiful. It is hard if you can bring walking sticka I would recommend we didn't and keep in mind it is very steep you need shoes with a good grip.

Gaetano was an amazing guide for our to Vesuvius and Pompeii. Very knowledgeable and humorous. Aniello was a great driver getting us through some tight spaces. In Pompeii, our guide for the tour of the ruins was Elena. She did an excellent job leading us through the highlights while sharing tons of useful information. Overall a great day!!

Alessia and Lorenzo were great hosts, bringing a lot of knowledge and fun to the trip, didn’t give too much information as to overwhelm us.
Tour lasted about 8 hours and the pizza for lunch was lovely,

Our tour of Pompeii and Vesuvius was fantastic! Elena brought Pompeii to life with her informative and humorous guiding style, perfectly blending history and fun. Thanks to Gaetano for his organization and to Isuru for safely driving us up to Vesuvius. The "30-minute walk" to the summit was a challenge in the heat, but the views from the top were worth it. The pizza lunch afterward was delicious, and the timing was spot on. Overall, a wonderful experience with a great team; highly recommended!

This was a terrific way to see both Vesuvius and Pompeii. Our tour guide at Pompeii, Bernadette, was a joy. Gaetano, our main guide was terrific with his beautiful smile and multiple languages. And Pasquale got us everywhere safely and shared his amazing singing voice with us on our journey home. Thanks to all for a wonderful day.

This tour was not what we booked, and we would not have chosen it had we known the actual setup. It was advertised as a small-group activity, but there were 35 people on the bus. For a tour of this size, the price of $130 USD per person is unreasonably high and does not match the experience provided.
At the end, we were given a small €1 souvenir magnet “for the memory of the experience,” which unfortunately did not compensate for the misleading description or the poor value overall.

Maddie our guide picked us up easily & Pasquale our driver delivered us to Vesuvius & Pompei with great humor, history and excellent driving skills as well as fantastic locations. Elena, our Pompeii licensed tour guide was equally instructive as well. Their English language was easy to understand. We highly recommend using this tour.

This tour was fun and informative. The tour guide Melania went the extra mile to get us the transportation we needed. I would highly recommend. The hike to the Vesuvius crater is a hard one so beware of that.

The views from Vesuvius were absolutely stunning. However, I would have appreciated more insight into the geology and geography, as this wasn’t included in the tour. The pizza for lunch was delicious, the limoncello tasting was food.
Finally, the guided tour of Pompeii was a highlight, engaging and informative. Extending it by another hour would have made it even better.

Long day and both venues were crowded.
I thought end of October would be slower but it was busy. We seemed to be disorganized all through the day.
We didn’t see the Venus in a shell painting and some of the mosaics.
Pizza lunch was good.
Vesuvius was crowed lineups.
We were supposed to be a ‘small group’ but there were 35 people. Not small.

Our tour guide Maddy and driver were excellent. The entire day was worth the trip! Travelers should understand that the climb to the crater of Vesuvio is steep and I saw many struggle along the path. Light rain made it slippery coming down. It takes a good 30-45 min up and 20-30 down. Worth the view even on a cloudy day. Pompeii was very crowded.

Wow! We enjoyed the freedom to walk up Vesuvius. Roberta was our knowledgeable guide in Pompeii and know we jusy scratched the surface of this amazing place. We were in awe. The tour team were amazing even with a broken down bus. Would recommend.

Alyssa our guide was very informative we had plenty of time climbing Mr. Vesuvius. It rained once we reached the top but then the clouds disappeared for a few photo opportunities. A once-in-a-lifetime experience. We stopped for a free sample of an aperitivo at Maurizio Russo's stand - Terre Vesuviane. We had a delicious pizza lunch, which included a drink after a long hike. We then headed to Pompeii we met with Elena who gave us a fabulous tour. Our driver was Tino his van had good a/c.

The trip to Pompeii was quite quick. The tour guides friendly and helpful. Roberto was a great guide though Pompeii. The fire The week before at Mt vesuvious made it unable to visit but they were able to state they would give part of a refund for this tour .
