A most informative tour by a most knowledgeable guide. He was extremely pleasant, animated and appropriately sensitive to the subject matter. A dark. In world history that came alive in the telling.

Please don't be put off my the Third Reich part, we learn so much about buildings and places that we had previously just walked pass, Alun really knew his stuff, would differently recommend.

This tour was informative and fascinating. It gives a unique perspective on the past by allowing the tour taker to imagine what it would have been like to have lived in the city during its darkest time. I highly recommend this to anyone with an historical interest in the Third Reich.

He not only gave a great history of the Third Reich, but also pointed out plenty of great sites and stops in Munich along the way. This was a good tour of Munich. The guide explained pointed out the key sites but the focus was on the rise of the 3rd Reich. So if you are a military history buff, this tour is a must. My wife thought there was perhaps a bit too much of this and would have liked the opportunity to sit a few times while the explanations took place.

Amazing tour!! Alun, our guide was awesome. Super knowledgeable! Took us around Munich and showed us where The Third Reich started. Showed us places we would have looked past or never even noticed! Answered all of our questions and was extremely accommodating. We took our 5 year old and 3 year old with us, so we were able to stop for quick bathroom breaks. Easy meeting point location. Will definitely be booking this tour again when families and friends want to visit Munich!

Alan the guide was great. We had a great time seeing the various places that had a historical part in the rise of the nazi party. As a history person it was very interesting to see places you have read about and have them explained in context with the city and the times. Alan was informative and listened to your questions and talked about the things you had an interest in as well as the things he was pointing out on the tour. We would highly recommend Alan as a guide.
