A Very Pleasant Day

Chiara was an excellent guide - knowledgeable, patient, helpful. Pacing was good, and being able to see a bit of Alba was especially nice. Stopped at a truffle shop to taste several items - no pressure to buy but the products were so good, I think most people did. Chiara provided many excellent suggestions for lunch and made reservations for those who wanted them. The wine tasting was very good - got to taste a lot of wines as well as touring the winery. Lovely setting!

Piedmont region winery visit

Our guide Stefano was very knowledgeable. He took the two hour bus ride to explain the history of Northern Italy, geographical landscape significance and the unique properties of the wine we were about to taste. We were surprised at the slight change of itenerary as the UNESCO winery grounds were now included instead of the Barbaresco wine tasting. But the itinerary suited us just fine and we still got to taster 8 northern Italian wines, visit the UNESCO wineries with gorgeous sunset views and meet local merchants. Very enjoyable and relaxing experience with a safe driver in a comfortable small group setting.

This tour was fantastic! Oleg is a great leader; informative, knowledgeable and funny! We made 3 stops, a castle, Alba and Barbaresco! The castle we had a wine tasting as well as the opportunity to purchase wine and REAL hazelnut spread. Alba is a nice little town where we had lunch. Oleg gave great recommendations! Then in Barbaresco, we had a wine tasting in Montaribaldi. The winery is beautiful and the wines were delicious! We highly recommend this tour!
