Maui’s West Shore is a prime spot for snorkeling and kayaking. Its tranquil, shallow waters make it safe for families and all skill levels.
Hop into single or tandem kayaks to explore the West Shore scenery and stunning views of the Ukumehame Valley. Your guide will provide paddling instructions, if needed, and provide commentary as you go.
Then, jump in the water and take a snorkel adventure with your guide. Keep your eyes peeled for coral reefs, green sea turtles and other marine life as you glide through the water.
Hop into single or tandem kayaks to explore the West Shore scenery and stunning views of the Ukumehame Valley. Your guide will provide paddling instructions, if needed, and provide commentary as you go.

Jeremiah was our guide who has a good sense of humor, very professional and an experienced guide. We learned about Maui’s history, culture, whales and got to snorkel with turtles.

This kayak and snorkel trip far exceeded our expectations. We took my son and his friend to Maui as a high school graduation present. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and patient. The kayaking was fun and we got excellent Go Pro video of green sea turtles while snorkeling. I'm an experienced scuba diver, but the boys hadn't even snorkeled before. However, after a brief lesson, they were snorkeling like seasoned veterans!
There were 4 of us together, so we had two each in tandem kayaks. It took a couple of minutes to get synced with our paddling, but then we were off.
Weather was perfect and of course the scenery along the Maui shore was absolutely beautiful.
If your looking for a fun and safe adventure, this is the company to use.

Seeing the Whales was incredible. However guide was totally oblivious to ensuring friends who were new to kayaking felt safe. I mentioned it to him several times with no impact. On average he was paddling at least 100 to 200 metres away . He also docked. on shore in waves way ahead of us and left me to help them get off coral and back to shore safely. No apology just condescending that we didn’t follow his kayak in closely. This is not my typical experience with guides who are typically last to dock to ensure all are safely out of water .

This was such a fantastic tour! Tyler was the best tour guide and is extremely passionate about taking care of our planet and is very knowledgeable about Hawaii and it’s deep history.
Getting there and finding the meeting location was a bit confusing but the people on the phone were super helpful - even when I got lost 3 times 🫣

Our guide Kyle was very patient teaching those of use who were newer to snorkeling. He is an outstanding guide and he made the trip especially fantastic. The scenery was stunning and we had a surprise visit from a group of spinner dolphins, which was so awesome!

Cody was a fantastic guide! Added tips for our visit as well as giving clear instructions with a touch of humor for our snorkel trip. The turtles did not make much of an appearance, but the reef included a lot of beautiful fish. The kayaking was easy and he went at our pace. Our teen kids loved it. The trip was a lot of fun.

Our trip was switched to a different launch point at the last min which meant driving an extra hour. I understand that the weather conditions are changing but I wished we could have switched to a different day as the snorkel spot
wasn’t the greatest at the alternative site and our guide was the only guide that did not have us kayak out very far to try and see whales.

We have noted your feedback. Unfortunately, being in the tropics the weather, ocean conditions change on a dime. Since we have many skill levels out with us (even tho' small group), we have to keep safety in mind going out. I will relay this on to our guide. We saw whales and swam with a sea turtle and fish. Cody is an awesome guide and very helpful. I was very cold when I got back into the kayak from snorkeling. He offered his rash guard😊

Great experience for all 5 members of my family!!! None of us are great swimmers but there was fun had by all! Our tour guide was Jeremiah…he was patient with us and quite funny! The normal meeting location was too windy so he took us to Makena Landing and it was great! Much calmer waters and we got to see sea turtles!!!

Wonderful paddling and snorkeling trip. We got far enough out when snorkeling that the reef healthier. Large schools of fish and turtles bro see. Tyler took very good care of us!

Cody was friendly and took time to review all the things we would need to know while out on the water. He also shared a lot of information about history of Hawaii, pointed out various sea creatures to us, including some we were able to handle. Cody has a great sense of humor and truly enjoys what he does. When my son and I became quite sea sick, Cody was attentive and did what he could to help us until we were able to get back to shore. Cody loves what he does and cares about the environment- it was wonderful to see! If my son and I hadn’t gotten sea sick, it would’ve been perfect- the sea wasn’t rough, just our sensitive bodies!

This tour was less expensive then the other tours and the only one left. I did not have high expectations. We kayaked to our first spot (not very far) and saw plenty of sea turtles. We kayaked to our 2nd spot and saw plenty of coral and fish. Highly recommend for beginners. Our guide Jeremiah was awesome and gave us some great facts about the island and sea life.

You should probably skip this tour. Our tour guide got there an hour late and out tour still ended at the listed time, so we paid for an hour that we didn’t get. Also, the life vests smelt like old body odor that lasted until I got back to the hotel and showered.
It wasn’t the worst, just not worth the money and precious time during an expensive trip

Highly recommended! Tyler was an awesome guide. He made everyone on our trip feel at ease and made the over all trip a lot of fun. We saw plenty of sea life - fish, turtles, and even a reef shark.

Cody was an awesome tour guide and very good at explaining everything needed for a first time kayaker. The 2.5 hours seemed a lot longer on the water and snorkeling. Cody really knew where the spots when trying to see some sea turtles. I would definitely book again.

Tour guide was great. We’re disappointed in that there was very little kayaking. The way the tour was describing bed it was a kayak along the West Coast. Very very misleading and not worth recommending.
