The boat was overcrowded

there were easily more than 100 people packed onto this boat. The workers were nice but there were just too many people. The floor was just people crammed onto mats. Also… there was one guest who stripped down to the nude twice in front of everyone! Many people complained but the man just walked off. He was completely naked in front of everyone. Such a weird boat. There must have been almost two hundred people on the boat, it was impossible for people who didn’t want to jump off the boat to swim because there was a line up in the water of people climbing back up the ladder.

Good morning to you and thanks for your review. Our boat is licensed for 180 guests, but I can assure you that we do not take more than 105 guests. We make sure there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy the day. The mats on the floor, some guests love them, and they request them so they can sunbath during the day, i understand maybe it's not your think. Yes, we apologies on this tourist who decided to go nude. We had no control on his behavior, but we immediately told him to get dressed when we realized.

The global experience during the visit of three bays was ok. The bay in Comino is crowded and people are sadly throwing their garbage on the path between the rocks. There are several improvements which can be done by the Hera : - a better organisation of the lunch - accepting less people on the boat

Thanks for your comment, we really try to limit space for our guests to be more comfortable. August sometimes it's very difficult due to demand but I will take note on that. Much appreciated.

Disappointing, I don't recommend it

I was really looking forward to this, pick up was early and after a chaotic drive we arrived at the boat an hour early. When we were finally allowed to board I realised how many people were to be crammed in. We were delayed so that yet more late arrivals could join the crush (I must admit I was tempted then to get off and call it a day). Generally uncomfortable but we got some good swims, and the crew checked all the bays for jellyfish. Lunch was a bit dismal, and of course crowded. There was completely insufficient shade so most people got burnt. We were late back with another grim transport back to Valletta (I had to ask the driver where we were when he dropped me off). The crew were mostly very nice, but not a day I enjoyed or would recommend. Spend your money on something nicer.

Hi Sarah, I'm sorry about your experience, Valletta is a long way through loads of traffic to get to Sliema on time, and check is at 0900 am, hence why we picked up at 0815 to make sure you make it on time. Due to a road accident that occurred on this day, one of our drivers got stuck with some guests in traffic , so captain decided to wait for them an extra 15 mins. This day we had 115 guests of which Hera takes up to 150 guests. With regards to shade we always make sure that the guests see the boat pictures before they book, However, by saying this we are in the process of adding more shade soon. Whilst I thank you for your feedback, I wish you a pleasant stay in Malta.

Cette croisière est tout ce dont je rêvais ! Le bateau est magnifique (très loin des bateaux touristiques) et l'équipage est très gentil. Comme prévu nous avons mouillé dans 3 criques dont celle du blue lagon sur laquelle nous avons pu descendre pour nous balader. Je ne sais pas si la croisière était complète mais en tout cas il y avait assez de place sur le bateau pour que nous soyons tous à laisse (sans être collé les uns aux autres) et c'était très appréciable. Le repas était simple très bon. Je recommande !
