Guide arrived late - everyone concerned.
Then made us wait half an hour for a bigger bus because tour company booked in or consolidated more people.
Knowledgable guide filling in time with painful random facts and stories.
Tour advertised as good value e.g. to visit spectacular church but actually visit is only to the outside.... Big disappointment.

Please do not speak on behalf of others unless you represent them. Yours is the only negative feedback we have received from the entire group.
The guide arrived on time, and the tour started as scheduled. According to the port security service, you arrived approximately 40 minutes before the scheduled start time. We appreciate your punctuality, but it remains unclear why you expected the group tour to depart earlier. If you prefer that level of flexibility, we recommend considering a private tour rather than a shared group tour.
Please also note that there are no admissions included on this tour. The time available is limited by the cruise ship’s port schedule and does not allow for interior visits, which is why no admission tickets have ever been advertised in the tour description or inclusions.
When booking future activities through Viator, we kindly recommend basing your expectations on the published description, itinerary, timing, inclusions, and restrictions rather than on personal assumptions.

Interesting tour of Malta . The tour guide provided details on its history and the main historical site visited. The tour guide also added some humor to her comments which made the tour most enjoyable.
Unfortunately, this was one of the least enjoyable tours of our trip.
The main issue was that no audio guide system or headsets were provided. The guide did not use a microphone either, which made it very difficult to hear the explanations. In a large group, this becomes a significant problem. Unless you stay right next to the guide at all times, you miss most of the information being shared.
Valletta is a fascinating city with a rich history, and we were looking forward to learning more about it. However, because we could barely hear the guide throughout the tour, the experience felt frustrating and, at times, quite boring. We found ourselves missing much of the historical context that should have made the visit more engaging.
Having experienced similar tours in other destinations with audio guide systems and headsets, we can confidently say that they make a huge difference, especially in large groups and busy tourist areas. Without them, it is very difficult to follow along and fully enjoy the experience.
For this reason, we would not recommend this tour in its current format. If you are booking a walking tour in Valletta, we strongly suggest choosing one that provides headsets or an audio guide system so that you can actually hear and enjoy the information being shared.

We regret to hear about your disappointment. However, according to feedback received from other tour participants, the group had to wait for you at several stops.
Please note that a group of 14 participants is generally considered a small group rather than a large one. Headsets are not required for a group of this size when participants remain with the guide and follow the standard group pace. In any event, headsets have a limited operating range and may not function when participants fall significantly behind the group.
The “Additional Information” section of the tour description clearly states that this tour is not wheelchair accessible and is not recommended for guests with limited mobility or walking difficulties.
For future bookings through Viator, we kindly recommend reviewing the tour inclusions, restrictions, and physical requirements carefully in order to select an activity suited to your needs and expectations.

Malta is not to be missed. Our guide was very experienced and through. She took us into Mdina and Valetta. Each city was different. Our favorite was Mdina because of the midevil architecture. Valetta had a great street scene. Thank you for a lovely day.
This is a good tour and the guide was extremely knowledgeable however it was very hard to hear her. I would recommend having a hearing device so the whole group can hear.
If you like time on your own to explore, this is not the tour for you. Guide was knowledgeable but does not give any time on your own. Would have been nice to explore the stores in Mdina. If you need to use a restriom, suggest you try a cafe as the public restroom was not a pleasant experience.

We regret to hear about your disappointment. Please note that this 4-hour tour has never included or advertised any free time or shopping stops in Mdina. Free time is available after the tour in Valletta, which is just a 5-minute walk or a 2-minute elevator ride from the port. In Europe in general, and not only in Malta, space is often limited, and large public restroom facilities are not always available. For this reason, public facilities are commonly found in cafes, restaurants, shops, and similar locations. For any future bookings, we strongly recommend basing your expectations on the tour description itinerary and inclusions rather than personal assumptions. Safe travels!

I was really excited about this shore excursion to Malta, however the tour guide referring to Bible history and the apostle Paul's documented shipwreck (recorded by first century historian Luke the physician in the book of Acts) as a "legend" didn't go over very well. Next, the bus was very crowded and people were coughing and the bus poorly ventilated. I requested they turn on the air and they acted like they didn't understand. My wife and I got motion sick from the stuffy air and had to cut the tour short.

My friend and I had such a great experience on this tour and one of the main reasons why was our guide Nole( Not sure of the spelling of his name) but he so informative and made the whole experience truly enjoyable! Malta is so beautiful and I highly recommend this tour!
Our knowledgeable and very personable guide took us on a walking tour of the Mdina and Valletta, both very interesting! We were a bit disappointed that a tour of the Co-Jon Cathedral was not included. We could go on our own but the ticket lines were very long. Otherwise a good tour.
This tour was so fun, very organized, and very informative! I knew nothing about Malta when we pulled into port but now I can’t wait to go back!
The captain Tony and his first meet also name Tony were excellent. They gave us a lot of knowledge about the geography around the island of Capri and gave us inside knowledge of where to go and what to see. I cannot recommend this highly enough Tony made this an excellent adventure for us.

This is a super tour to see and hear about some of the most important sites and events in Malta’s long and complex historical timeline — in just half a day. Our guide Stephen had a deep and rich understanding of Malta’s past and brought it to life. In addition, as a native Maltese, he also pointed out the culture and beauty of the island today. Malta was one the most beautiful stops on our Mediterranean trip. We loved this tour. There was a good deal of walking, but it was worth it to see and learn about all that we were presented with.
It was incredibly a great experience, something to check off from my bucket list! Tour guide was fantastic!
Tour was ok, covered some good attractions, but was let down by poor organisation, guests had conflicting information in relation to departure time and we were left waiting well after scheduled time before departing in coach, rushed at end because of this. Also expensive tour for free attractions covered

It explains that the time on your ticket may differ from the actual pickup time. It's best to follow the pickup instructions we send closer to the tour date. In terms of cost, we suggest comparing our tour to similar top guided tours in a comfortable Mercedes-Benz minibus that includes port pickup and drop-off at popular US destinations. You might be surprised to find that our prices are much more affordable. Have a safe journey!
Lots of walking tour with interesting sights. Had a very knowledgeable guide, Stephen who was passionate about telling us the history but with a large group it was hard to hear him. The experience would have been enhanced if we were provided ear phones to hear him as we walked.
