Very digestible summaries of key paintings in the museum. Thought it would be more of an overall view with some in-depth pieces about certain paintings, but did not realize that it was just a review of six specific paintings. But those reviews were very interesting and we found it otherwise useful.

You just buy timed entrance ticket and don’t have to wait in a queue. You can buy cheaper ticket on official website but if you wait for last minute they don’t have earlier slots. So had to buy via Viator to go at more suitable time which suited us.

We are seniors, and the ticket we got at the door reflcted that (7.5 Euros instead of 15 Euros) however on the app, we did not have the opportunity to select a senior entry. The audio on our phone was good quality but only talked to 6 paintings. So we felt the $84 CAD we paid was overpriced.

The museum was incredible !! I definitely recommend it to any art history enthusiast. The only other place I found this much amazing art in one place was the Vatican. I would go again !!

The timed ticket allowed...

The timed ticket allowed us to move around the museum to visit various artist collections. The audio system allowed you to punch in numbers and get a brief recording of the major features on the paintings.

The ticket is not a ti met Had to line up for 20 min (no English counter ) The audio guide took too long to download and the positions labelled did not match what was inside (get the audio machine available inside) Paid twice the price for entrance! Disappointed

The museum is fascinating. I could have spent days. The wifi password was not provided- even when asked. Our tickets provided a link to a subset of what I interpreted to be the audio guide; however I could not access it

For our 3 weeks trip to Spain, we booked several tours (around 8) with Viator. All ( except for one of the above, were fully satisfactory) This tour was different because although we were confirmed a time slot at Museo Del Prado with a confirmation # ahead of time we were advised that tickets would be sent to us 24 hours ahead. We were a bit concerned about that but true to their word Viator sent us a confirmation document one day ahead, which unabled us to get our museum entry at the ticket office of the Prado Museum . As for the Museo Del Prado be sure to include it in your activities in Madrid it’s extraordinary! We purchased a two hour time slot, but at The Prado, they gave us as much time as we wanted. So we ended up staying three hours as there is so much to see!

The sheer scale and volume of the Prado’s collection is a little overwhelming, my experience would’ve been improved with a knowledgeable guide. Photos are apparently ok in some areas, but each time I attempted to take one, I was asked to desist.

Disappointing considering the cost bs the cost of tickets at the entrance..and the purchase description mentioned audio guide..but this audio guide was only on our own phone and swimming description Google for only 7 or 8 table
