Pedro was an excellent driver — punctual, professional, and very helpful. His car was spotless, and he made the journey truly enjoyable. This was by far my best experience with Viator, and I left Madrid feeling happy and well taken care of. I highly recommend Pedro — he was outstanding!
I’m giving 5 stars based solely on this last experience. However, my overall rating for Viator would be 2 stars. In previous bookings, I was assigned good drivers but with old, unclean vehicles, which isn’t how I prefer to travel or enjoy my time. Because of the inconsistency, I’m hesitant to recommend the service to friends — I’d hate for them to be disappointed.

This was a pick up from the hotel to the airport. So being on time was very important. Our driver was actually there early, so there was no stress.

We have used Viator since 2000 whenever we have travelled overseas and have never been disappointed especially with pickup for getting us to the airport after a long trip. I like knowing we get a van for pickup since 3 out of 4 of my family are very tall and need the legroom plus we have our larger luggage. The drivers have always communicated with us when on the way or have arrived. I know that since 2000 there is now Ubers and taxis and we use them to get around cities but specifically for hotel pickup to the airport, we will continue to use Viator for the reliability and great service.

We received drivers contact info night before pick up. Middle of the night, flight is delayed. We contact driver just 90 mins before scheduled pick up and asked to reschedule by 2 hours. He immediately replied and accommodated us. He was on time, super friendly and vehicle was new and clean. Very highly recommend this service for peace of mind

It would be good if the drivers spoke English. That was NOT my experience coming from and going to the airport in Madrid. I also found communication between me, Viator and the companies very poor. I was told on several occasions that that there was missing info (e.g. pickup locations and times), after all the required info was provided.
