Itinerary

Following hotel pickup in Funchal at 9am, you’ll board an air-conditioned vehicle destined for northern Madeira’s natural highlights. Stop first at Cabanas de São Jorge, a picturesque village surrounded by mountains and vineyards.

Stop for lunch (not included) in pretty Ponta Delgada before heading further north to São Vicente, a valley home to the famous Sao Vicente Caves & Volcanism Centre.

Take a tour of the subterranean caverns, created by a volcanic eruption that occurred almost a million years ago, and learn more about geology in the on-site museum.

After a journey through the scenic Ribeira Brava, your tour concludes with hotel drop-off.

Love the small group. The van was just right. Muni the tour guide was very good. Enough time for scenic lookouts.

WE actually had decided not to do this tour and take a day to relax. So.... glad that we did it. Amazing scenery and again the tour guide was very professional and made sure we saw lots and watched the weather throughout the day to make the most of the itinerary. Well done/

En casi toda la excursión habia que recordarle al guia que nos comentara la excursión en Español,pocas explicaciones y escuetas. Las cuevas de Sant Vicente nos dijeron que la visita seria en Español y al final solo habia explicaciones en Ingles y Portugues,osea un desastre. No recomiendo esta escursiones si no tienes nociones de Ingles. Madeira no esta preparado para los Españoles
