Overview

Embark on one of Madeira’s most famous levada walks on a full-day tour of Levada do Caldeirão Verde. Pickups from selected hotels in Funchal, Câmara de Lobos and Caniço is available wherever possible. Note that some hotels do not allow for easy access or parking. On those cases we'll send you an alternative pickup point close to your hotel. For hotels in the Lido area, we'll kindly ask customers to meet us at our office in at Monumental Lido. Please make sure to check your e-mail, SMS or WhatsApp for pickup messages or reminders from our staff the day before your tour.

This is an excellent thrill seekers walk it wasn't what I was expecting at all. Surprisingly easy going and the scenery is amazing everything from the sheer drop down to the caves its a top walk in madeira I'd fully recommend. Also the guide was a genuine guy who made sure everyone is OK and he had a great sense of humour.

Liana the guide was great, and Luis the driver too. We did a short stop in Santana for grocery and washrooms before the hike. The hike itself was easy, but very muddy.

Great walk led by a friendly host. In the middle of summer the waterfalls were not in full flow but the hike had plenty of beautiful vistas regardless. Note it can get very busy on this route and you often have to pass people on very narrow parts of the levada.

From the start of our day with Lido Tours t until the end everything was excellent Pick up on time good driver and transport but what really made it a great day was Charlotte our guide she was very informative very thoughtful of the group but not too invasive The scenery was excellent a long but pleasant walk

We did two Lavada Walks with Lido Tours, Caldeirao Verde and Larano. The tours were well organized. We got picked up on time and had the chance to buy some picnic on the way. The guide had a good knowledge about the island and the fauna. The walks were absolutely stunning. Great views.

El suelo, que es lo que ves durante el camino. No da tiempo de disfrutar del paisaje. Además, preguntamos expresamente si en Santana se paraba para ver las casas, la elegimos porque dijisteis que si y luego no se paró. El lugar vale la pena visitar, aunque la excursión resultó algo decepcionante.

A caminhada acompanha uma levada. Não há escadas no percurso, sendo de nível fácil, apesar dos 14 kilômetros. Há 4 túneis no caminho então uma boa lanterna se faz necessária. Infelizmente, a operadora não enviou informações adequadas, solicitando a lanterna. Acho que foi uma falha na comunicação.

Una excursión realmente bonita. Unas vistas espectaculares, senderos que se adentran en lo más profundo de las montañas, cascadas muy altas, túneles completamente oscuros, flora muy variada y una guía de montaña muy simpática y agradable.
