Paula,I may be mispelling her name, was a fabulous guide. Our group of 6 visited many different food experiences,some with beverages. All great stops with tastings. Very inviting and knowledgeable hosts. Food fabulous! My husband & I highly recommend this terrific & tasty tour!

Fantastic tour with a great guide leading us through the 'tastiest' parts of this beautiful city via 8, yes 8, stops for food and drink from genuine outlets / producers. Although I was travelling solo, the rest of this group were such a lovely bunch that our finale 2 course lunch felt just like a group of friends. In short, you get what you pay for - quality food and drink in a beautiful location

Paola, our food tour guide took our group of six on a three hour journey of Lucca. Coffee, gelato, wine and olive oil, cheese, and a small but flavorful three course meal to end the journey. Paola was extremely knowledgeable of the history of the area, and equally informed on the food and its origins. A fun time was had by all .

The food, of course! The variety and the history of some of the shops and particular foods was interesting. The wine cellar and the final stop for light lunch were the best!

Maria our guide was great. We took our 85year old mother in a wheelchair and she sorted everything to suit. The places we where taken where local and wonderful.

When I arrived at the Puccini statue to meet the group, I discovered I was the only taker for that particular day. I would have not been surprised if they cancelled or postponed, but off I went with Paola, my guide, for my individualised experience!! There were lots of planned stops of course, but I was also able to stop at stores that interested me and chat to Paola about them. I enjoyed my tour, ate waaaay too much, but was also able to rest afterwards to digest it!! Thanks Paola for a lovely morning and lunch.

Our guide was extremely friendly and personable. We stopped for a cappuccino and it was like having coffee with a relative that we hadn't seen in a while. She seemed to know all the locals and was greeting people as we went on our tour around Lucca. We were treated very well at all of our food stops, probably because of our guide. Before we knew it our tour was over. The time went by fast. This tour is well worth the time and money.
