      This was such a unique experience I would absolutely do again! to hang out with Leonardo and his dog for an hour running around the forest searching for truffles was so much more fun than I expected. He told us a lot of information we otherwise wouldn’t have ever known, and at the end treated us with tastes of truffle dips, sausage, cheese, and even honey! It was delicious, we had to leave with some. He picked us up from the train station and also provided train times to help coordinate transportation from and back to Florence. Wonderful experience I hope to do again one day. Kudos to Leonardo and his wonderful truffle dogs :)

      Best experience of the whole Italy trip. It was a once in a lifetime experience. Not many people will get to experience this in their life. We got picked up at the train station from Leonardo than went to his house to pick up the hunting dog. We then went into the Tuscany forest to hunt for truffles. We found 2 white truffles which are more rare and 1 black truffle. We learned the history and got to experience walking through the forest and the dog finding a truffle and Leonardo rigging it out. Than we went back to his house and had some truffle delights on bread. It was probably the best experience of my life. My gf, Katie and I, loved every moment of it. 10/10 recommend.

      Leonardo is a kind man who clearly is passionate about all things tartufo. We had an amazing experience with one of his dogs in beautiful Tuscan countryside forest. Learned so much about the truffle ecosystem. Found more than a dozen and sampled great products back at his home. Easy pick up and drop off from the local train station. Highly recommend!

      Truly a magnifico afternoon. Leo lead us through the woods with his faithful guide dog Ake. We arrived at the shoulder season of black and white truffles and found both! If only we could capture the smell. Afterwards, we were treated to hand crafted artisanal treats like truffle butter and oil. Leo produces small batch products for purchase. The final treat is you are close to the charming San Miniato and can enjoy dinner and gelato.

      It was a wonderful experience. Leo is super nice and has shared a lot of interesting information about truffles and their search. We could ask anything and you could feel how much he likes nature and searching. The loyal dog companion did a perfect job. We found several truffles during the tour. Just thrilled!

      Salir a "cazar" trufas en San Miniato fue una experiencia realmente memorable de principio a fin. Sentí tremenda emoción al poder sumergirme en un bosque de la Toscana y ver cómo Leonardo y su perro Kai colaboraban para detectar y sacar de la tierra el preciado "oro negro". En el trayecto, él nos fue explicando muchos detalles interesantes sobre esta variedad de hongo tan apreciada en el mundo culinario por su distintivo aroma y su sabor. Luego, pudimos degustar los productos que Leonardo elabora bajo su marca Tuscany Flavour. En especial me disfruté mucho la miel trufada y el aceite de oliva con tartufi.
