Moderate walk. Stops along the way. Starts at the British War Memorial which is fascinating. Continues toward Big Ben and Parliament and on to the Churchill War Rooms. Our guide Marnie was wonderful!

Excellent tour! Not only did I learn about WWII but also how the British are still learning today about the involvement of woman’s roles during the war. Our tour guide was fun and answered many questions happily!

No Show Tour Guide

Jim_B, Jun 2023
We had three days in London and wanted to see the War Rooms. I went on line and saw a tour by Fun London Tours on the morning of June 6th, and booked a 2:00 pm tour for 40 GB for that day since we were leaving the next morning. I tried to save the confirmation to my Apple wallet, but it wouldn't save. We arrived at the Westminster Underground Station Exit 2 at the top of the stairs at the Victoria Embankment as directed when we booked the tour. We arrived at 1:40 (ahead of the 1:50 time in our instructions), but no tour guide showed up. We called the company, but got an answering machine that said they were closed. We left at 2:20 since the guide did not show up. A terribly disappointing experience. I would not trust this company for any such guide service in the future.

Response from Host, Jul 2023

Hi Jim, We have already spoken about this so I'm unsure why you would want to post about it almost a month later, particularly when your annoyance is actually the result of you turning up on the wrong day. You made a booking for our Churchill tour on the 7th June - you then turned up a day early on the 6th so you are correct, there was no guide there when you arrived, because there was no tour scheduled that day. You have repeatedly been unwilling to acknowledge that we were not at fault and it is a real shame that you have now very unfairly given us a 1 star review, for your mistake. Thankfully the thousands of 5 star reviews we have been given over the years show that we are a very well trusted and reliable business. Regards, Sarena, Administrator of Fun London Tours

Winston Churchill takes no s&*t!

Amber_W, May 2023
We had a wonderful and intimate tour with Marnie as our personal guide—just me and my son with her for several hours. Highly informative and tailored to what we wanted to see. Wonderful way to learn about British government and Churchills passionate leadership so late in life! I travel to England often for business and never have a chance to explore or be a real tourist, so it was really fun. She clowned me with a story about Churchills statue—I had to Google it to find out it was a joke ;)

Response from Host, Jun 2023

It sounds like you and your son had a great time with Marnie! We're glad to hear we were able to show you some of London's history, so hopefully we can share even more on another tour!

Great tour and a great guide

Michael_K, May 2023
Marni was great. Very interesting talk and she was a lot of fun to hang out with. Would certainly be happy to do another tour with her.

Response from Host, May 2023

Our guide Marni is great isn't she! We'll pass on your lovely comments and hope to see you on another tour soon!

The singing guide

TerryThomas_P, Nov 2022
Excellent guide with lots of stories and songs! Even with rain pouring down she kept our attention. She was animated, charming and engaging.

Response from Host, Nov 2022

I imagine this is a review about Amber! She's our very own singing guide, great company and a brilliant person to have talking about Churchill and Westminster. Thanks for your review.
