Great service clean roomy vehicle would recommend. Very pleasant journey. 6 seater van and driver lovely and her Englush was good.

Stonehenge in One Hour

There was poor communication all around. I asked if it would be possible for our private driver to pick us up at our apartment instead of the meeting place. The response from Viator was to send a complicated form which I opted not to fill out and chose to stick to the original meeting place which was about four blocks away. So we went to the original meeting place at the originally scheduled time. The driver did not show up for 30 minutes. Said he had been waiting at our apartment. I tried to contact Viator but was unable to get through to the driver. There was no direct connection between Viator, the driver and me. My husband walked back to our apartment to see if he could find our driver but he got lost. When the driver arrived and I was by myself, he was very upset. He did not want to go pick up my husband but he did and was very rude about it. So we were about 45 minutes late getting on the road to Stonehenge. Because of the delay, our driver wanted us to return to the car at the originally scheduled time so we only had about an hour to see Stonehenge. One hour. The driver did not talk to us and was on his phone the entire time. We arrived back at our apartment 30 minutes ahead of schedule. I thanked him for driving us and he didn't respond so I told him I hoped he would enjoy his extra time that we did not get to spend at Stonehenge. It was not a positive experience. And it was expensive to have a private car. I have travelled with Viator on many different occasions in many different countries and it has always been a positive experience, with this exception.

As part of our standard process, we sent a follow-up form to confirm and process this change, but it was not completed. Without this confirmation, we proceeded with the original pickup address at 130 Queen’s Gate, as listed in your booking. On the morning of the service, we were informed—via message at approximately 8:40 AM—that you were at 130 Queen’s Gate. At that time, our driver had already gone to 22 Cranley Gardens, based on the earlier inquiry and lack of further instruction. This understandably caused confusion and delay. While we regret the disruption this caused to your experience, we do want to assure you that our team acted in accordance with the most recent information available to us. That said, we are very sorry that this impacted your visit to Stonehenge and left you feeling rushed and dissatisfied. We also take your comments about the driver’s demeanor seriously and will be addressing that internally to ensure all travelers are treated with courtesy and respect, regardless of the circumstances. We hired a private driver to take us from central London, then back. She was excellent. This is the ONLY way to be taken out to Stonehenge. Be prepared for a long day due to traffic out of, and back into London. 7 hours total. If you MUST see it in person, them by all means do it with a private driver.

Stonehenge was very cool and worth the drive. That said, avoid this company for a private ride there. Pictures were of a mercedes van with the back seats facing each other for visiting. Mentioned on board wifi What showed up was a VW transporter with row seating. Hard plastic doors that your elbows rested on and every bump was felt. Really a horrible ride. Driver was new, didn’t talk much but she seemed very kind and is the reason for 3 i instead of 1 stars. Driver side rear tire was quite out of balance so the vehicle shook the whole time. Spoke with Emanuel the supervisor before we left and he matter of factly said “did i request those things?” I said no they were in the pictures and the reason he got our booking. His answer was the pictures are not representative of the actual tour. We still went as there was a zero refund policy. Later the add was not to be found and i got a message from them saying all was exactly as it should be. Just kinda dicks about our concerns about being mis-lead.

Firstly, the service that you received is as it is portrayed in the adverts as you said but it seems as if you might have confused our ads with someone else’s as this service never mentioned on board wifi and seats facing each other in the vehicle. Secondly, after your disappointment with the row seating, it seems as if you felt that everything else about the ride was off; which you spent time looking for as you mentioned how the rear tire was quite out of balance making the vehicle shake the whole time. as everything on first glance you were unsure of for instance our driver, yes our female driver has just started, but later you came to realise that she is very kind so there was no need to discriminate against her and our product at first glance.

Very nice man,forgot his name. Not sure if it was worth the price of tickets but still enjoyed it Stonehenge was interesting but no audio to go with it.

Our driver was very prompt and quite helpful. He provided a lot of information for the area. He did not rush us when we wanted to spend time walking around the non designated area. He was very polite and accommodating. We had a wonderful time and appreciated our driver!
