What To Expect
With your chosen car-and-driver rental booked in advance, all you need to do is wait to be picked up from your central London hotel.
Hop inside your vehicle with your driver waiting at the wheel, then relax as you travel in comfort to your first destination. Where you go is up to you, meaning you can plan your itinerary depending on the time you have free.
Half-day options generally cover distances of up to 100 miles (160 kilometers), whereas full-day options cover up to 200 miles (322 kilometers). Typical half-day itineraries might cover a chauffeur service to famous London shops or landmarks, while full-day itineraries could shuttle you further afield to Stonehenge, the Cotswolds, or even Oxford.
When your itinerary finishes, you’ll be dropped back at your central London hotel or another central location.

We booked ATN Cars to take us from London City to Windsor Castle, Stonehenge and Salisbury Cathedral on May 19th, 2025 for 8 hours. Our driver, Kuha, arrived on time, provided us with water for our trip and we were on our way. Kuha was professional, kind, informative and provided suggestions for timing of our visit so we could see everything we wanted to experience. His driving skills were great, his car was immaculate and comfortable and we felt safe the entire time. He shared what he knew about the sites when asked. Our driver was prompt and professional. The car was clean and comfortable. We had arranged this ride just to get to Stonehenge, however the driver said we had time to visit Windsor and Salisbury. When we fot to Windsor, he dropped us in a central location, and gave us the time to be back at the pick-up point. He was right there to get us. Then at Salisbury Cathedral, he walked us to the catherdral, and then directed us to a cafe for a quick bite. These things were all above and beyond, if you ask me! We got to Stonhenge right on time for our sunset tour. He offered his umbrella as it was threatening rain :) After our tour, he got us back to our hotel at Heathrow in safely and in good time. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a few short hours to visit London after flying into Heathrow and then transferring to Southampton for a cruise. Our driver was fabulous!! Car broke down on way back from Stonehenge. We were stuck on highway in cold rain for 3 hrs before we could find someone to take us back to Heathrow.

We are so sorry for the inconvenience caused.
To dispatch a driver from London takes longer therefore your driver arranged a local cab company to drive you back to your hotel in Heathrow. You were picked up within 2 hours of the car breaking down and our driver paid for the ride. Given the unusual circumstances, our driver did her level best to get you back to your hotel safely and in a timely manner without abandoning you on the road side.
Due to the rural location the car stopped, the driver couldn't arrange another driver straight away.
The driver confirmed to us that you weren't standing outside for 2 hours. Within 15 minutes of the vehicle breaking down with help of a highway patrol officer, the vehicle was moved to a layby and you were waiting inside the car till the other driver arrived.
Our driver was on time, drove you 70 miles to Stonehenge on time for your admission, waited for you and drove you back . Her vehicle was running perfectly until it lost power on the way back. Hopefully you can understand that this was out of any of our control.

The young Lady that picked us up at Heatrow and took us to Southampton on 4 November , I believe her name was Duce , was very knowledgeable and careful driver . She not only drove but had the history and what was happening all along the way . Spending some time at Windsor was the highlight of the trip . Knowing all the backstreets and walking paths she was able to show us what we needed to see .We would have loved to have her for a full day thru London . She made our half day even more enjoyable .

Many thanks for your feedback. We have dispatched an Estate vehicle (free upgrade) even though you have booked a saloon vehicle. We wanted you to have more leg room and comfort for your day trip. We are upset to learn that you thought Uber cars such as Prius's and Kia s more comfortable compared to a 3 years old Outlander vehicle.
Once we passed your comments to the driver, He informed us that seats were set upright which could have been the reason for your discomfort. He felt distressed that he received a negative feedback for a little thing as failing to adjust seats before picking up his passenger.

This experience is true to title. The driver was on time, the vehicle was comfortable and the cost was clear. It is expensive, but should be expected for the type of service. Of note, if you are expecting a tour, this is not it. You are hiring a car and driver, narration is not a part of the deal. This company was also good with a last minute pick up change, which I really appreciated. Just what we needed for a customized transfer between hotels and venues.
