The tour was okay, but could have been much better. First, there were 4 of us and we were in a standard car with 3 in the back and 1 in the front passenger seat. The 3 in the back did not have good views of what Sukh was trying to show us. Second, it was easy to tell that we knew more about some things than Sukh did and we knew he was just wrong on some of his facts. For example, he told us that Harry and Meghan were married at Westminster Abbey. They were married in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
We used Viator to book a tour of the Louvre last year and had a great experience with our guide. She was very knowledgeable and gave us a very positive impression of Viator tours. This tour with Sukh did not live up to that standard.

Most accommodating and informative. Sukh picked is up as we exited customs at Heathrow with no issues. He had a small sign with our name, so we easily found him. Prior communication was excellent, so we knew exactly what to expect. We arrived a 1/2 hour late, but he adjusted our schedule appropriately.
After listening to our needs and getting our next flight information, he drove us into London while informing us of local culture, politics, economics, history and laws. We drove by Buckingham Palace, Hyde Park, and the Shard. We made brief stops at Big Ben, Westminster Cathedral, and the London Bridge. He pointed out many other local fascinations and neighborhoods. We were returned to Heathrow at the needed terminal on time four hours later with lots of ideas for our return trip. Highly recommend this tour.

We have used Viator MANY times, but this was our worst experience. The driver was late, and when I called the booking confirmation number, they gave my phone number to the driver. FYI, drivers will only use the What's ap social platform. We finally made a connection, and the driver complained about the train station area we were being picked up in, so we walked with our luggage a few streets away to a less congested area to help. We were easygoing. Once in the car, our driver boasted he had been in London for over 20 years and driving for over 15. We were excited to be shown the sites by this veteran London native. Asking us for the itinerary, we drew a blank; we didn't know the area, and he didn't have a planned itinerary established as other drivers have. We asked him to use our time best and show us as much of London as possible. He didn't have any sense of urgency to find alternative routes through traffic to typical tourist attractions. After our first hour of only going 15 miles (I had google maps open to identify buildings and learn more about the area as we drove along and saw missed opportunities for better driving routes.), at our first stop for a fun photo opportunity, the driver said he would be right where he dropped us off so we can walk to the palace gates and take photos. He was not where he said he would be upon our return, and frantic, our luggage was in the car; I thought the worst. The driver was not responding to the what's app calls. We had to call the service to help us locate the driver. After more than 15 minutes, the driver returned. In fear of abandonment and the safety of our belongings, we terminated the experience and asked to be dropped off at our hotel. I called Viator and the car service provider to share our experience and request a refund. The car service apologized, promised a full refund, and instructed me to call another number associated with Viator to enter the claim. I called the number and was informed the request would go to review for a refund, and as of the date of this review, two weeks after my experience, I am still waiting for a refund.

We have already responded to this complaint. We stand by our previous response. The travelers arrived from Paris in Eurostar, were they were met by our driver, who took them to the tour. Then about 3 hours into the tour they decided they were tired and wanted to go to there hotel. We have done our part.

The tour was basically transport between sites that we requested to see. There was no information bestowed or guiding at all. We asked to see the changing of the guard which was specifically mentioned as a stop on this tour in the description and ended up having to google start time and ask to be dropped off at that time. Then asked to see Westminster Abbey. We arrived and discovered on our own that tickets are needed so purchased tickets on our phone and basically self directed in the Abbey and used the free audio tour to walk around. The driver was nice and a good driver but this was not a tour. Very unlike what we have experienced in the past in different towns and different companies. Concerned about remaining portions of the trip which we have also booked tours with this company.

Thank you for you kind review. At the start of the tour, the driver explained to you all the sites you would be visiting including the changing of the guards. When the driver took you for the changing of the guards, he saw that there was still a bit of time left. The driver anticipated that there would be a lot more traffic then what he encountered and he got there early, so rather then waste your time sitting there doing nothing he suggested visiting Westminster abbey and palace of Westminster and Big Ben, which was near by. I personally think that he used his intelligence and his experience in this instance and saved you time. I commend him for that, to complain about that he did not know anything is a bit unfair. If he had just sat there waiting for the changing of the guard then we would say that was not a good idea. What do you think?

The tour was great and our guide Ahmed was absolutely amazing. He was very very knowledgeable. It was impressive. He also allowed us to determine the key landmarks that we wanted to see, pulled over for us to get pictures, etc. Overall I would highly recommend this tour and I give Ahmed a 10/10!

Farook was amazing. He showed us London in 4 hours and then some. It was our first time in London and we spent to many days shopping so only had one day to see London landmarks. He made it happen and we could not be happier. We got pics in front of Buckingham Palace and got to see the changing of the guard in person. He got us there just on time. We also saw the Tower of London, The Paul's Cathederal, and Westminister Abby. He took us to Fortune and Mason because I had heard that was where the queen went to shop for her tea. He told us all the history of London. Than you so much!!

Edy disappointed with Viator. The driver never showed up and wouldn’t answer the phone, text messages, or emails. Waited for 30 minutes and decided to leave and do it on our own. Someone contacted us an hour later offering to pick us up but at that point there was no faith in the service that would be provided.

This tour was misrepresented as English speaking. The guide did not speak clear English. Also, the tour description claimed to provide history and commentary. It was strictly drop off/pick up with no knowledge or expertise for the area visited.

We are extremely disappointed with your review, your driver has many 5 star ratings on trip advisor. your driver was a 60 Year old Gentleman and he has been living in London for 51 Years. his first language is English, so to say he could not speak clear English is totally inaccurate. your after meeting had outlined to you the whole tour, places that you will be visiting and what to expect, in many places he got out with you walked you to site and informed where to go what to expect. he led the tour from start to finish. we feel that the review is totally unfair and you should reconsider you views

There were 2 couples and our driver was very friendly and helpful. We hadn't been to London and only had a half day since our Viking ship was late. Pickup was easy and we saw all the highlights.

The driver was vey good and efficient with the time. This is basically a way for your to get to the top location more efficiently. You can also do it by subway but is not as effective and it will take too long figuring out where to go if you are not familiar with the city. There is not real explanation of anything of the sites. Basically just a professional driver to take you right to the key highlights of the city. I recommend this if you don’t have much time and or want to concentrate your time visiting the outside of the city. The tour company was very attentive to my needs. I certainly recommend this ture.

My family and I had never been to London, and didn’t have a lot of time so we opted for a half day tour to hit the highlights. Our tour guide Ahmed was incredibly knowledgeable about the city and made sure we got beautiful pictures to commemorate our trip. Definitely recommend and if you happen to get Ahmed you’re very fortunate 🥰

This was the worst trip we never finished
It was supposed to be a luxury car it was a family car
The driver had no idea what to do he picked up a map from the hop on and hop of bus and started to follow that route
After 30 minutes into the tour we got out and I rang the driver to tell him we were not carrying on
We had planned and saved for this on our 25th wedding anniversary and we were completely let down by Viator on a trip that did not even come close to meeting what the had described
It was an absolute disgrace

Thank you for your review. I am sorry but your account of the tour is totally different to what took place. First of all I would like to make this very clear. Your driver on the day was Mr Vyas, who has been driving in London for the last 15 Years and majority of that has been as a tour driver. so your claim that the driver was looking at a map is completely untrue. And before i go any further with this response I would like to inform you that Mr Vyas has Dashcam fitted in the car it not only records visual it also records voice. so all the conversation that took place between you and Mr Vyas is on record. we will send a transcript to Viator also. Mr Vyas merely handed you a leaflet containing information of all the iconic places in London. This was just for your information purpose. You requested that you wanted to see all the places in London and Mr Vyas informed you that due to Queens platinum Jubilee Buckingham palace and the surrounding area is closed but he will try to take you as near as possible. Mr Vyas drove to Whitehall and Westminster Abbey Number 10 Downing street Big Ben House of parliament and then dropped you near Westminster Abbey to take picture while he waited for you. However after 30 minutes you called him and said that you wanted to continue the tour on your own from here, so Mr Vyas requested you for reference purpose that if you could send him a text message confirming that you would like to continue on you own. But you did not call him back. So now tell us where we have gone wrong with this tour. we have fulfilled all our obligation under the circumstances.

I paid for 4 hours and only got 3. I specifically asked about flight delays because we were being picked up at Heathrow. I was told by the vendor to email flight delays, which I did. When he picked us up he said we were already 30 minutes into the tour. Then, we were dropped off 30 minutes early. The car was nice and clean and the driver was pleasant. We were not able to to stop and see any sites. We drove by and saw things from a distance. Overall disappointing.

We are disappointed to hear that you felt the tour was not up to your expectations. your driver on the day was Mr Kenneth, who has been with us for 22 years, he is one of our top tour driver, this is the first negative review we have received in 22 years where Mr Kenneth was the driver. We have spoken to. Mr Kenneth who is very highly regarded among all Tour drivers. Having spoken to Mr Kenneth we have come to the conclusion that he did carry out the tour fully as per time limit. Mr Kenneth told us that he had discussed everything with you soon after he met you at the airport and fully explained what you will be able to do within your time frame. having taken you to all the important land marks in London. And after the Tour he did indeed drop you at the airport as per your schedule not 30 minutes early. please note your journey time from Heathrow to London and return is 2 hours minimum. you need to understand that you booked a 4 hour Tour, now your journey to London was within those 4 hours. Never the less we regret that you did not manage to get to see everything as per your wish. We always strive to provide the best service possible but on this instance due to shortage of time you did not manage to see everything. believe me there nothing more sad then to have a unsatisfied customer and for that we are regret deeply.

It felt like more of a shuttle service to us compare to other tours we took on our trip. We had an issue finding our tour at the meeting place and really received little help from the company. No one was answering the contact number they provided. Would recommend another tour.
