This class didn't offer as much "hands on" work like we are used to in classes. It was mostly observation. The class was way overbooked making it very crowded. The instructor was wonderful but she had to separate the group into two. 8 is a good size that fits around their table, but we had 12. Four of us had to move down into the kitchen. We didn't care about where we were, we made it fun. We thought we would be able learn how to temper the chocolate ourselves, but instead, just watched the instructor. She was knowledgeable and gave a great history of chocolate, we just wanted to get our hands into it more. The whole point of taking a class is so we can try it at home.

My family and I loved this experience. It was set in a great chocolate shop in charming Notting Hill. The instructor was extremely knowledgeable about cocoa beans from around the world and walked us through the entire process from harvesting the bean to pouring out delicious chocolate into moulds.
I learned a TON about different chocolate and got to sample chocolate of different compositions and flavors from around the world. Watching my daughter make chocolate and leave so happy made this experience worth it. We had an awesome time and would definitely do this again.

Our instructor was amazing! Not only did we make chocolate bars, we also learned a great deal about the history and the overall process by which the cacao fruit becomes chocolate. We also ate a LOT of different chocolate types. Highly recommend for chocolate lovers and those who are just interested in learning about chocolate.
