An absolutely wonderful bike tour. We were looking for something outside the city, having done those bike tours a few times, and this was perfect. We rode on a bike trail that connected parks, gardens, and past mills and waterways. The pace was great, the scenery outstanding and Stefan was a fantastic guide. Highly recommend it for anyone who likes to explore new areas in an active way.

We will meet at my House which is a 1 min walk from Colliers Wood underground Station. Colliers Wood station is on the Northern line and about 20 min from the centre. Come out Colliers Wood tube station and turn sharp left. Pass the shops and after 50m turn left again into South Gardens. Walk straight on for 100m and my house is on the left hand side of the road, Nr19, opposite the blue entrance gate to the school and before the black entrance gate to the park.

I was the only crazy Dutchy to book this tour on a grey Monday morning in December. Still great fun, been to Londen a few times but have never seen the sights we saw today. Stefan was great and knew a lot about the area. I imagine the tour to be even more appealing in spring, summer or early autumn. Really recommend it if you want to do something different in London!

My friend and I had a wonderful time on this bike excursion through the less-visited suburbs of the London area. We rode along a local river and stopped at several sites where Stefan explained how local water wheels were used for various industrial purposes in the past - fascinating. Stefan is very cordial and helpful. He seems to tailor the ride based on person’s bike riding ability. The bikes were of very good quality and easy to maneuver. I highly recommend this one.

We had a wonderful time. Stefan is a terrific guide. The views were truly gorgeous and the ride was the perfect level of difficulty for us (not bad at all). The historic stops were interesting and the stop at the pub was so pleasant and relaxing. We highly recommend this tour.

SECRET SCENIC BIKEWAYS in London

Being invited into the home of our guide as he matched us up to our bicycles, getting acquainted with a family of four who would be traveling with us, and witnessing the guide educating us on the history of the villages, the national trust, the waterways, and the buildings on our path was fascinating. We could not tell we were in London due to the peaceful paths, foliage, water features, etc that we rode past. Having the group stop for lunch at an old, old vintage pub was an extra surprise and delight. I would highly recommend this experience. As for feedback to consider: Ensure each of us has a water bottle or brings one to the onset of the experience. Ensure that each bike is equipped with a water holder. Consider having at least one E bike for those with joint issues so they can still ride and enjoy the experience with their family/friends, etc.

All through parks and countryside, and visiting very interesting historic old mill sites. Visiting a very interesting community park area, where we chatted with the older gentleman who has created this beautiful artistic garden nook in the city out of what used to be an abandoned garbage area. We stopped and had a relaxing lunch at a pub before we headed back. I rate Stephan's bike tour the best in London that I've experienced! Stephan was very nice and interesting to talk to. Very relaxing and delightful.

Wonderful bike ride. Went as family of four. Very friendly host, very knowledgable, great to see parts of London that we wouldn’t normally see. Lovely bike ride, no hills, nice countryside, it didn’t seem like we were so close to the city centre. Enjoyed stop off at water mill and the pub.

Pre-Christmas bike tour

We love exploring strange places by bike and this tour of a green, historic and rather unknown part of London was really a highlight of our week in London. Stephan is super sympathetic and has reported very knowledgeably and vividly about the history of the places at many stops. We were even able to visit a historic textile mill and of course a stop at a historic pub was not missing (very delicious food/beer). The bikes were in top condition and a matching helmet was also available. The tour is easy to manage and the 4 hours have passed as if in flight.
