Please re-confirm your pickup timing 48 hours prior through our web-portal. Passengers need to be checked out and waiting by the concierge desk in their hotel lobby at the beginning of their pickup time. Please be aware that your driver will wait for 10-15 minutes before departing, at this point the transfer will be declared a no show. When picking up from private addresses your driver will ring the buzzer or a contact number whichever is required.

Our driver showed up on time and was very pleasant. She came into our hotel lobby and assisted with some of the bags, and assisted us in and out of the vehicle. We arrived at the airport 3 hours before our flight as promised.

They canceled the transportation just hours before they were supposed to pick us up. I had rented the largest van possible for two people and 5 pieces of luggage. The message said I had too many bags for only two people and they refused to transport us and told me to find a different alternative. I ordered an Uber that came no problem for half the price! I need a refund of this immediately and compensation for the inconvenience and panic that it caused at 5 AM on the morning I’m leaving trying to get to the airport.

We are sorry for inconvenience caused however there seems to be some confusion about the service you have purchased.
On the 17th of December we have received your booking for 2 passengers however your booking is for a standard Sedan NOT a Van.
It is NOT possible to select the sizes of the vehicles when making a booking, it is only possible to select the amount of passengers and the vehicle size is assigned according to the amount of passengers. For this reason we inform on the product page that the luggage allowance is 1 piece of luggage and 1 carry on per person.
Because you have mentioned on your notes " 2 passengers quite a bit of large luggage " ( how much is quit a bit ?! ) and again the booking made was NOT for a Van but for a standard Sedan we have sent you the following message on the 18th of December .
“Please note that this transfer is NOT confirmed. Can you please advise us how much luggage do you have and size of luggage.”
The reason we have sent you the message was to find out how much luggage was “quit a bit “ and to advise how to upgrade to a bigger vehicle by amending the booking to a bigger amount of passengers.
You replied to our message the night before your service at 10:49 PM not only confirming the excess luggage and requesting a pick up time of 08:00 .
The bellow information is available on your voucher
“... Please do NOT ring to reconfirm your pickup time, use the web portal provided below. Passengers must be checked out and waiting by the concierge desk in their hotel lobby 4 hours ahead of flight time for Heathrow… “
You have provided an ETD of 10:50 so your pick up would have been at 06:50.
We have replied to your message 15 minutes 11:05 PM later advising we no longer would be able to carry out the service and to arrange alternative method .
Unfortunately you left it until too late to be possible to amend to booking and there was no longer availability for the new requested pick up time.
Whenever we send a query about luggage / flights / pick up or drop of location we always advise the service is not confirmed so this way passengers are always guaranteed a refund.
We would like to highlight again that you have NOT BOOKED a VAN and if we would have send the vehicle you have paid for not only you would not be able to accommodate the luggage you would also not be entitled to a refund.

A great ride. The Driver was very nice. When we got to the Airport he told me to stay in the car where it was warm and he got a cart and put my luggage on it and then he pushed it inside. Very polite and helpful.

Pick up location was never confirmed. We waited at location the hotel told us. No pick arrived.
Our drop off had similar problems. I fo on location was vague. We didn’t know Boots Pharmacy was in arrivals hall or that was where we should be.
Taxi was cheaper and had no pick up issues. We ade glad that we had a 2 hour delay.

I really wanted to give it a 5 star, but the inconvenience of communication took out one star. I would suggest that the company communicate with customers with some apps such as WhatsApp, which is instant and efficient, especially for the driver. Everything went well although the company communicated with me with emails through Viator. The day I used the service I wanted to let the driver know that I was ready, he/she could come anytime. I could only leave a message via Viator. The company replied quickly saying that I could call if it was an emergency. It would be an international call for me. It’s not an emergency, so I can’t let the driver know I am ready. Although the company called the hotel to let me know their driver was coming, I felt that I didn’t know what was going on. The other company I used was pretty good. When I arrived, I already received a message from the driver telling me she was waiting in her car and she would come pick me up once I let her know I was in the arrival area. It made me feel relaxed. Other than that, our driver did an excellent job. He sent us to the airport within one hour, which was earlier than expected. We had extra time browsing around before the flight.

Our driver arrived for pickup a few minutes early and was very professional and personable. He explained different areas of the city as we drove through and answered any questions we had. He ran to retrieve a trolley for our luggage upon arrival at Heathrow. Our booking process and contact with the office was perfect. I would absolutely book this again.

Our driver was so personable. I loved that she called to see if we could leave earlier than original time. It made for getting to our flight on time in Gatwick. Our drive showed us the countryside on our way to the airport and explained things to us.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS! It was extremely difficult to contact this vendor to change the time for pickup after our flight got delayed several hours. I tried emailing, which was the shared method for contact, but that is apparently a 48 hour turnaround, which didn’t help at all. Then I tried calling the number provided in the auto response, and couldn’t get anyone. Eventually, the hotel was able to get through for me that morning. The man I spoke to was very NOT understanding and said that the car was already “on the way,” 5 hours in advance of my pickup time. When I said that didn’t make sense, and I just wanted to push the pickup a few hours because of sn airline delay, he said that he couldn’t accommodate. So I requested to cancel it, and he said, “you’d really cancel over an hour or two?” And I said yes. So he said fine and hung up.
When I tried to get a refund from Viator for the service that he had verbally agreed to cancel, he apparently lied to them about what time my original pickup was and that I wasn’t ready to go at the new time, so they said they couldn’t process a refund. THERE WAS NEVER ANY PICKUP. Just a huge scam all around, and I don’t think I’ll continue being a viator customer with vendors like this. I can’t trust that they properly vet them.
Just book a taxi at a flat rate and it will be infinitely less frustrating, less time consuming, and cheaper. This sucked.

It all started when we followed your direction when we checked in with the concierge and waited by the concierge desk. the driver checked with reception (NOT your direction). When he started driving he was so busy looking at tiktok on his phone that he caught us in a small traffic jam. He never once asked us if we wanted air conditioning or the windows open. He turned the radio on to his station and spent almost the entire trip on the phone. These are not the actions of a PROFESSIONAL driver.

Poor experience. Driver was an hour early for puck up without prior notification. We realised during the trip that he already had another return fare. Was continually texting during the drive which caused him to veer across the road- unsafe.
To top it off we were dropped off at the arrivals pick up point and we had to fend for ourselves from there. The first time in many similar drop off's this has happened.
Will use a taxi in future.

I don’t believe there was a memorable moment from this experience unless you call the disappointing moments memorable. Both transfers provided us with cars that did not fit us and our luggage. We were cramped into the car with a full-sized piece of luggage…both times! We alerted Viator of the problem we had with the transfer from the Airport, but there was still a problem for the transfer back. It seems that Viator doesn’t really know what their operators are doing. I don’t think I would recommend Viator to anyone.
