Very easy. Very relaxed. Liked the self paced tour. The history was incredible. Gift shop and cafe were delightful.
We purchased an entry ticket to Kensington Palace through Viator and were very happy with the experience. Buying the ticket in advance saved us time as we were able to avoid waiting in the main entry queue.
The ticket also included a self-guided audio tour with a headset, which was very useful and provided lots of interesting information as we explored the palace at our own pace.
The palace itself was beautiful and fascinating to explore, but the gardens were also a highlight. We particularly enjoyed visiting the Sunken Garden, which is beautifully designed and is home to the statue of Diana, Princess of Wales. It was lovely to take some time to walk around the gardens and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.
Overall, we really enjoyed our visit and would recommend booking tickets in advance to save time and make the most of your visit
Nice palace but nothing special or different to see in my opinion but it was good to see Diana’s statue
Take your time and enjoy all this museum has to offer. Lots to see and history to learn. Literally a Royal Treat.
Very interesting tour. Easy to find entrance...just look for Queen Victoria statue. Friendly staff at entrance and very good audio headset
Great tour guide- kind and knowledgeable. High yea quite good. It should have included a palace entry ticket regardless.
Nice. But its just a recorded tour you listen to. They did provide little stools to sit on. It was very hot in the palace but they tried to cool it with fans.
Lovely place. But no reference to Princess Diana which was a shame considering her stature and she also resided there.
It's not worth the money you spend.Room 1 has 3 tiaras on display. The place is not lit up in the rooms nothing much to see including dirty old carpets. They have a small room showing princess from India why ?? When people pay to see the so called Fake Royals, nothing special to see
The staff was wonderful and so knowledgeable. Be sure to ask any question you may have. They are a wealth of information.
There is a self guided tour with a headset. Be sure to look at the garden too! The Princess Diana statue is lovely.
We enjoyed the tour and thought the tour guide Philip was very knowledgeable and equipped to lead the walking tour. It was an amazing experience!
I loved the palace and gardens, but mostly the stories of the guides insides different rooms of the palace. We found out how queen Caroline died and about the morning princess Victoria became queen. Very informative and fun!
It was interesting historically but didn’t take three hours as was indicated when buying the tickets. Not sure it was the best value for money.
Interesting visit of the Georgian rooms of Kensington Palace as well as Queen Victoria‘s childhood apartments (beautifully restored). An additional exhibit on three Anglo–Indian princesses was included and was fascinating too. There is a nice cafe and gift shop.
The price includes the entrance ticket so you can enter the palace anytime on the day you book for. There is no guided tour included. but there is a very good audio guide.
Nothing other than be in line for your appointed time. It doesn't take more than 90 minutes to two hours to view everything. Don't miss the Princess Di garden before you leave.
I was expecting more relevant and current information and content. The audio tour was informative and it’s 3 different tours. Expect about an hour-2.
Buying the tickets through viator were perfectly fine and easy to do, highly reccomend. As for the attraction, it could have improved air conditioning, went during the heat wave and it was miserable. Newer sections were good.
Entry tickets only . Highly recommend . It’s beautiful . Love the garden tribute to Diana was beautiful
Not to crowded. Friendly helpful staff. Value for your money. Must see if you visit London. Gardens very nice.
Audio tour is only of the historical part of the palace, but was very interesting to see the history there. You can buy tickets there but this let us skip the line and walk right in
The building is interesting and the story of William and Mary is clear. I was sorry there were so few rooms and so few period furnishings. The last princess of the Punjab exhibit was excellent. And of course the gardens are super.
This was a self guided tour with a headset. The headphones didn’t fit well & the app was a little tricky to use. The parts of the palace we saw were interesting. I especially enjoyed seeing the parts of the palace where Victoria grew up.
Excellent! It’s a guided tour by head-set and it’s done extremely well.
The tour time and go at your own pace.
Excellent tour. Strongly recommend it.
So much history. Learned a lot about the Ravens and their purpose at the Tower. The torture exhibit was interesting in a gory kinda way.
Underwhelming. If it hadn't been for a pop up exhibition about Indian women in the history of the British Empire this would have been a total bust!
Not as nice of a castle as Windsor. Seemed old (which it is) but they could kick it up a bit. Thrilled we did Windsor the day after Kensington. I’d say go once at least.
Great audio tour at your own pace. Very interesting information. Not overwhelming like some larger palaces, and galleries. Recommended.
We had a bit of confusion as we thought this tour had a guide as it stated meeting point. It was fascinating as you took a step back in time and learned some history. Some rooms were bare and lacking well others were so mesmerizing and peaked your interest. It was disappointing that there was nothing of Princess Diana to see other than a photo in main lobby and outside in the gardens. She was the main reason I wanted to do the tour. The website for Kensington Palace tours needs to be updated so people aren’t misled and disappointed as I was, and a few others who were.
Take the offered headsets! They are great for narrative! Also talk to the staff they are engaging and full of information
