David did a fantastic job explaining the objects that relate directly to the Bible. He kept the tour interesting and even provided a portable folding chair to use. Highly recommended.
David our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. It was truly a biblical tour as he backed the artifacts we saw with biblical events. David was articulate and entertaining. He masterfully guided us through a biblical timeline. We will seek to use him again.
David is a great communicator. We received lots of information on both the tour and tips on visiting London before our scheduled tour. His meeting instructions were clear & concise. He told us where to find folding stools so our concerns about standing on hard floors for 3 hours ended up not being a problem. His knowledge of the bible & the artifacts in the museum is impressive. The time went by very quickly. We definitely recommend this tour for anyone who wants to learn more about the Bible.
This tour with David is amazing. He has encyclopedic knowledge of both historical periods and biblical verses and events. Seeing artifacts that the Apostle Paul saw or referenced in his writings allowed me a personal view of the Bible that I'd never experienced before. In addition, names listed in the Old Testament which were foreign and unknown came alive. Thank you, David, I look forward to more tours with you in the future.
David was a WONDERFUL guide for our tour and exploration of the British Museum's amazing collection of Bible-relative artifacts. The brief preface to our tour (during which he assisted us with loading a great Bible app for our use) helped to set the background historically for the Old Testament timeline he would be illuminating. Throughout our tour, David kept us engaged as he led us through Bible history utilizing the look-up of Bible passages (via the app) as he led us to the pertinent artifacts. The Israelites' history of triumphs and tragedies endured during interactions with the Assyrians, Babylonians and Persians as recorded throughout the Old Testament were brought alive as we viewed the artifacts of those kings and civilizations in the museum. David's clear and concise narrative (and occasional query to us) made the time with him fly by. David's intimate knowledge not only of the museum's layout but each of the period displays was apparent to us as he expertly guided us from exhibit to exhibit. He also emailed us follow-up information to provide additional clarification to several topics we had discussed (ex: a video link showing the use of a Persian king's Rhyton in pouring wine). We HIGHLY recommend David and this tour!

David was full of information, repeatedly tying scripture to museum artifacts. We explored room after room. He was knowledgeable and passionate about history and about the Bible.

Excellent tour of British Museum with fantastic tour guide - funny, knowledgeable, and experienced. Truly the best way to experience this wonderful museum. The Bible comes alive through the artifacts and Biblical stories and references are verified by historical timelines and events. How encouraging for Bible believers to have their faith strengthened in this way. If you are a skeptic or a non-believer - take this tour and be challenged to see the world through a Biblical lens. Wow!! David is an amazing guide. Super knowledgeable of biblical history and does a fantastic job of bringing the Bible to life by showing numerous examples of artifacts in the museum which are also referenced in the Bible. Truly a wonderful experience and David just could not have been more perfect for our experience. Highly recommend.
A comprehensive view of the Bible and the collection in the British Museum. Puts it all together. Relates the kings, warriors and prophets to real events and artifacts. Puts the story together. David is outstanding!!
David’s tour was our first trip to the British Museum, and this was so much better when just walking through exhibits on our own. Amazingly there was only 3 of us on this tour, and with David’s passion bridging this gap between text and objects in the museum we ended up staying closer to 5 hours. David did a wonderful job guiding us through 3 periods of history: Assyrian, Egyptian, and Greek. He brought the Bible alive by tying verses throughout the Old Testament to artifacts in multiple exhibits. He showed the progression of rulers across civilizations in history leading to Jesus and tied them to passages by name - putting faces to the text. David also entertained many of the side questions we asked, often pointing out little pieces of information we had not noticed - like the reading direction of cartouche, little details on the city gate bronze bands, and showing us the kinds of coins used during the time of Jesus.
Afterwards he sent us some additional references. I really wish there was a full day option available.
Amazing. David gave us a context right at the beginning of the tour on which we could base all of the information he was going to share with us.He linked it to a biblical narrative in the bible which was great , and made it accessible and enjoyable for Christian’s and non Christian alike. It was also very accessible for older children and teenagers as was in our tour.
This was truly an amazing experience. David made the Old and New Testaments come alive. His knowledge of the scriptures and the artifacts at the museum is incredible. This has definitely increased my faith in and understanding of the Bible. I would definitely recommend his tour to anyone who loves and reveres the Bible.

David was sensational in how he brought the various artifacts alive to us. There were so many “aha” moments that revealed the context of Bible verses. If you don’t join this tour when in London, it would be akin to not joining a Bible tour in Israel!
David is an excellent and passionate teacher of the Bible. He gave us timelines of the Bible and cross referenced artifacts with specific scriptures. By doing so, he successfully authenticated writings from the Old and New Testaments.
The whole experience was great. Very educational and tied together very well. Dave was awesome. Review the things he sends beforehand if you have a chance. I’m someone who hasn’t looked at the Bible for years and still enjoyed every bit of it as stories came back and made relevant with each piece.
The Bible tour was excellent. David the tour guide was very thorough in his knowledge of relating the artefacts in the British Museum to the Bible and showing specific Bible verses. Even though the tour was 4 hours it went so quickly, I was really captivated by the wealth of knowledge which I learnt.
It was a great experience walking through the Bible while exploring ancient artifacts from different cultures and countries. It really makes your faith stronger to see it unfold before your eyes. David is extremely knowledgeable and very engaging.
I was hesitant to pay $$$ for this tour, expecially for one of my kids. However, after reading reviews, I took the plunge and was so glad I did. The 4 hours flew by and we were kept enthralled. My older teenager loved it as much as I did. My younger teen had some issues, but because certain parts of the museum were uncomfortably warm. We agreed that David's enthusiasm and excitement were contagious! We loved this tour!
Bringing the bible to life. The knowledge of the guide was incredible. Seeing Roman coins with the face of leaders who were present at the crucifixion.
So often we walk through a museum and learn about different cultures in history without context. But this was like walking through cultures during bible times. David gave bible stories life and perspective by viewing Assyrian, Babylonian, Greek, and Egyptian artifacts and sharing the history behind them from a biblical perspective. What an amazing afternoon!

The British Museum Bible Study Tour was excellent. Through David’s knowledge of the scriptures, he brings the many ancient archaeological finds to life. I would recommend this tour to those wanting to hear about the accuracy and historical evidence supporting the Biblical accounts. I hope to join one of David’s tours on my next trip to London.
