We expected more structure, details and interesting facts during this tour. The information was presented in a kind of semi random fashion. No supplemental materials (maps, floor plans, timeline diagrams were used). The guide was pretty unenthusiastic and just led us trhough Generalife, palaces and fortress with ability to take quick selfies. We expected much more especially after our free walking tour of the city that has offered all of the above.

Take a local bus from Granada town to the meeting point. Alhambra is on the top of the hill and the route is really steep. Nasrid palace is absolute gem so book it with the tour. Wear comfortable shoes as the tour lasts 3 hours.

Not for people with walking disability. The organization is poor. Backwards and forwards. People sending you one way and then another. Not very friendly or helpful staff either. Poor signage when we saw any. Sandra, our guide was excellent

Alhambra is an experience of a lifetime. To be there in person was so exciting considering the history and the age. The gardens are fabulous. Our guide Borjas was one of the best I have ever had. He explained things simply and with humor adding his own interesting takes on things.

IMO a guide is essential for this attraction. The Alhambra is an ancient walled city and is enormous. It takes up to 3 hours to get around and a guide definitely helps you navigate the route.
If you are staying in the old town Granada, it is advisable to get a taxi up to the Alhambra as it is a steep uphill climb.

Very disappointing experience. We booked the Alhambra mainly to see the Nasrid Palaces, but our tickets were canceled at the last minute due to a “system error” after we had already arrived in Granada and planned our entire trip around it. Offering only a partial refund was not enough for ruining the main highlight of the visit. Beautiful place, but extremely poor booking management.

Make sure to take your official ID the park requires passport or drivers license.
Buying the additional ticket to see the palaces is a great addition !

It was very good. Leticia was very well informed and thorough. She was also very thoughtful and spoke with our cab driver to give him directions on how to get to the other exit on the way out.

The tour of the Alhambra was three hours viewing the palaces and gardens of the sultan and the later king of Spain. The tour guide , Alba, was so knowledgeable and entertaining that the time passed quickly and the group learned the history of Spain from 1100 AD to the 1500s. She also explained Moslem culture and architecture. Tour was well worth the fee. There is about a two mile walk including stairs.

The Alhambra is massive and really needs a professional to not just show you all of its parts, but explain them as well. Nacho did just that. In three plus hours he led our group in a masterful way.

Great tour provided by Natalia! It was just over 3-1/2 hours. We were fortunate to have a "small" group of 14 instead of up to 30. Natalia allowed us to ask questions during the tour; you also take a 15-minute break about halfway through to rest a bit and enjoy a snack (not included). We moved along at a good, relaxed pace. Please make sure you bring your passport, as there are a few checkpoints you must pass through. Overall, the tour check-in process was easy before the tour started. Kudos and thank you to Natalia for a wonderful tour!

It's a long tour. Be prepared to walk a lot. But it's totally worth it. It's beautiful and the tour guide explained the history very well. Without the tour guide, it's hard to appreciate the details behind the beautiful monument.

We booked for 5 adults and one child and later we add another adult however the person we contact at Viator auggested I make the extra payment and no need to add ID of the extera adult despite me insisting that this is a requirement for booking at Alhambra he just ignored my advice and suggested that is not required ao when we arrived we could not at her to our group and she missed out on all the major palaces tour. I totally blame the Viator for this and this was my first and last time I deal with them

It was unfortunate that there were not enough people on the 11am tour and I along with another couple were put on a 10am tour with a mix of English and German speakers, even though our tickets for the Palace were for 11:am. Result guide Francis was having to speak in both languages and took us to the gardens and the military fort and then told the the 3 of us With 11am tickets to go to the palace at 11:45 am and wait there till the rest of the group with 12 noon tickets could get in. We ended up with a huge group. This was not a pleasant experience for either me or I imagine Francis. He was very aware that I was the only person on my own and did not get lost and that was very nice but he was not able to cover the history of the Arab rule in Grenada or their accomplishments. I was disappointed.
