Never consider this tour company

The tour company is very inefficient. They made me wait 30 minutes and added me to a different timing than originally booked. The guide was not engaging at all. By now, I have done so many guided tours in life, and I would rate this as one of the worstsz

But your tickets and download the info yourself. Less than 1 hour tour. Very small gallery. The only reason to book this is if you can’t get the tickets through the primary website.

Read the fine print!

First of all, I totally screwed up because I thought entrance tickets were included. This should be spelled out prominently on the website. When we arrived for the 10:30 tour, there was no one available to help us. After wandering around for fifteen minutes, we met a person who informed us that the tour guide got injured and we were rescheduled for 12:15. When we returned, we had to give the same person 80 euro in cash, again, because I thought the original price I paid included the tickets I thought the entire interaction was sketchy. The tour was shorter than promised and absolutely not worth the cost since we were delayed two hours and had to rearrange our plans. In the future, I will make sure to read the fine print and go see the replica of David in the plaza for free.

Hello Mrs.Elizabeth, We are really disappointed to have a traveler like you. Because you have accused us of your negligence. We have not done you any injustice.The Viator platform clearly states in block letters that the museum entrance fee is not included in the price of our tour, which is visible to other travellers and it is surprising that you did not see it. Also, although I officially informed you via email on March 30 regarding the rescheduled of the tour start time on April 4, since I did not receive any response from you, I again informed you via WhatsApp and several calls and messages on your personal phone on April 3. We have all those emails and messages clearly. However, the biggest regret is that you behaved in a way that caused inconvenience to other members of the tour. The tour guide and other members of the tour clearly stated that at the end of the tour. Best of luck

Our tour guide was good and we were happy to skip the lines. Tour guide was interesting. We could understand her and she was charismatic. After the Michelangelo part we just weren’t as interested in the rest. It was just ok. We give Tour guide 5 stars her

Terrible headset, heavily accentuated tour guide, don’t book this experience as we were absolutely disappointed.

The headset was so terrible that even though our tour guide was knowledgeable, it ruined the experience. I could only grab about every third word at best. The ambient noise in the museum is so loud that even though our guide spoke English and we were standing right next to her, we couldn’t understand what she was saying. We paid too much for too little. We should have just bought the regular tickets with the guidance provided by the actual museum. We were absolutely impressed by the statue of David, but we should have had a top notch experience for what we paid. At the end of the tour we expressed our disappointment with the extremely poor audio and the only response was, “this happens sometimes.” I told them they needed to invest in better headsets for both the guide and the participants but I don’t think they will make any changes. It’s unfortunate.

Hello Mrs.Sheryl Gibbons, First of all I want to tell you something about this tour.There were 12 people on this tour, including both of you and all the other travellers have come to me and stated that they did not experienced any problem of the headsets. When you talk about paying more, I have to say that our main goal is to provide the highest quality service to the tourists who come to us and we continue to provide that service today.Actually, from the beginning, you both tried to get this tour at the price of regular entrance tickets to the museum. However, if you feel that giving you a one-hour tour with a tour guide and fast-track tickets without waiting in a queue for more than an hour and a half for the price you paid is a loss, then you may find it beneficial to do the tour without a guide on other tours. However,Sorry for the inconvenience caused and we are working on that.

Very nice. A little bit overly planned: after free time we were told to meet at one place then walk 1.5 km to the bus. Bus guide was very nice but reluctant to have us go straight to the bus after free time (avoiding a second cab ride for those of us unable to walk 1.5 km). The Academia tour was excellent! A lot of informative discussion. David is spectacular.

Is misleading from the start it doesn’t include tickets you have to still pay . The tour guide doesn’t talk about all the different paintings and art in the gallery but only for 6 sculptures going in so details that you lose interest ,than you are on your own to explore.It’s too expensive for just one hour of not that much information.

Great tour with the ability to skip the line was awesome! We didn’t have to stand in line in the 98 degree heat — it was well worth the price! Elisa was our tour guide. She was informative and kept the tour moving at a nice pace.
