I had an absolutely fantastic photoshoot experience with Ken during my trip to Florence. From the moment we met, he made me feel completely comfortable and relaxed, which is not always easy when you’re in front of a camera! Ken has such a kind, professional presence and a great eye for capturing candid moments that feel natural and genuine.
He knew exactly where to go for the best light and the most beautiful Florence backdrops — spots I never would have found on my own. The whole session felt effortless and fun, and he offered great direction without anything feeling posed or stiff.
The photos turned out beautifully — warm, elegant, and truly reflective of the atmosphere of the city. They’re some of my favorite images from my travels, and I’m so grateful to have them.
I highly recommend booking with Ken if you’re visiting Florence. He is talented, thoughtful, and a pleasure to work with. This experience was absolutely worth it!

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this experience. While the photos were just okay, the issues began right after the shoot when the photographer asked us to cancel our Viator booking and pay him in cash instead. This defeats the purpose of booking through a trusted platform and left us feeling uneasy. When that didn’t work out, we ended up paying more due to conversion rates.
When I politely raised this, his reply was defensive and unprofessional, even suggesting that “all Americans tip.” Combined with his short and dismissive communication, the overall experience was uncomfortable and not worth the stress.
We did eventually receive our photos, but the process was frustrating and unprofessional from start to finish.

This was such a fun experience to explore Florence while getting amazing photos! Ken truly is an expert at finding the best spots, perfect lighting, and giving helpful posing advice that made everything feel natural and effortless. We chose Ken for doing a photoshoot for our daughter in honor of her upcoming graduation while visiting Florence. Her photos are gorgeous, and I have had countless comments about how fantastic they are. He was so very communicative with us throughout the process. He made our daughter feel comfortable and was so very professional not only with his choice of locations and artistic ability, but also how he treated us. He recommended several places to see on our visit, and we enjoyed his suggestions. Highly recommend!

Ken tried to reschedule our photoshoot many times although I made it very clear that we were traveling into Florence that very day. Regardless he still changed the time and location. When I texted him 30 minutes prior to the 4pm time adjustment that he made, it was storming out. He declined to reschedule. We tried to get a taxi in the rain to the new location at the Piazza do Michelangelo; although, we specifically rented an Airbnb steps from Duomo square where he advertised the photoshoot to happen. When we told him we were on the way in a taxi, he said he would only wait 15 mins more. We arrived at 4:27pm when the original time scheduled was 430pm. He yelled at us in the square in front of all the tourists for being late. The photoshoot did not happen and he refused to refund the amount paid. He was very immature and unprofessional throughout the entire experience. Beware women Ken is very arrogant and misogynist. He does not respect women and my partner called him out for it after reading our communications. Ken refused to apologize and accept any responsibility for the confusion and tardiness although we were trying to accommodate his time and location change. Do not recommend. This was the worst experience ever. We left Florence the next day to enjoy other more friendly parts of Italy.

All what is written here is a complete lie.
I have been extremely accomodating as I always do and I offered to start earlier to avoid the rain, which the clients accepted and confirmed. Zero rain at the time scheduled.
They didn't even depart yet at the time we supposed to start. I had to contact them, they didn't warn at all about being late(which the lady admited in person), neither apologized, never experinced anything like that.
I just told them that our appoinment on a certain time and that I was there, and they started saying that they were stressed and taxis are hard to get etc and that they want to to cancel because was raining, which was not true, I have photo/video proof.
I just told them that at that point it was not refundable, and again they start lying about the meeting time, which is all in the chat and I sent it to them, and they kept lying in front of evidence.
And then the husband told me that I have to wait for him to come talk to me. He arrived and with an extremely rude and intimidating attitude asked to be refunded, which I of course refused.
I kept showing him evidence on the chat. He kept offending me.
This is what happened.
All this is is proven by chat, and it is under investigation.
I have hundreds of review that speak for themself.

My wife and I did our wedding photos in Florence in early September, and were very nervous walking over to get them done. Ken made us feel at ease and got us more and more comfortable just walking around and talking.

Ken is such a pleasure to work with and he is a fantastic photographer! He made me feel completely at ease from the offset. He took the time to speak with me before the shoot to get a sense of what I was looking for. I decided randomly last Sunday morning that it might be fun to get some photos taken. I found Ken on Viator and was surprised that there was availability for that afternoon. I signed up and he quickly messaged me on whatsapp to finalize details.
We made a plan for the evening and when we got started he made it a lot of fun. He knows all the best spots to take photos and how to get the light right. I was thrilled at how the photos turned out and his turnaround time to deliver edited photos was fast!
I would definitely use Ken again and highly recommend him!

This was a wonderful experience and we would highly recommend! The photographer was so personable and kind, while also efficient with the experience. We utilized so many different sights in Florence for the photos and are so excited to see the finished pictures! Very easy to communicate and get location to meet as well. This was our first ever photoshoot and it was an incredible experience. Ken is such an amazing photographer! He is such a professional and helped me capture the perfect proposal, overlooking the beautiful city of Florence. I could not be happier with the whole experience and highly recommend Ken.
