This experience was amazing! I did it with my 17-year-old brother and we had so much fun! Snorkeling was cool, it was our first time so we accidentally drank a lot of [very very salty] ocean water and got nauseous, but seeing the turtles, fishes, and underwater structures made it worth it. As for parasailing, it was my first time and I was slightly nervous but it went smoothly; there's truly nothing to worry about! It was such a fun experience: take-off, airtime, and landing went beautifully. I can't even explain how peaceful it was to float around in the sky. Jet skiing was also very fun! I definitely recommend getting individual jet skis, especially if the person you're partaking in this activity with is more or less of a daredevil than you are. It's also easier to control a jet ski when there's only one person riding it. As for customer service, the employees are kind, informative, and reassuring. Side note: The photo package is pretty pricey at $30 US dollars per person per activity, but it was definitely worth it. The photographers took AMAZING pictures and videos of us. There have lockers there but they don't prohibit you from bringing your phone as some other companies do, I was able to bring my phone in my waterproof case for all three activities. Thank you!!!

Great experience overall, jet skis were a blast

I did the parasailing and jet ski combo in November 2025. Unfortunately, due to weather conditions, I was not able to do the parasailing portion. The company handled this well and I received a refund for that half without any issues, which I appreciated. The jet skis were really fun and definitely the highlight of the experience. I would absolutely do it again. The only downside, and the reason for four stars instead of five, is that the jet ski location was a bit confusing to find. It is operated by a partner company, and the actual jet ski spot is what feels like a mile walk down the beach from where they tell you to meet. You also have to walk through some water and over rocks to get there, which was not clearly explained beforehand, but it is a nice view/fun walk over. Once you get there, everything is worth it. Overall, a great experience. Just be prepared for the walk and some confusion finding the location.

Loved it. My first time parasailing and jet skiing. Tour operators seemed overwhelmed by the volume of people for the experience. They did not interact or attempt to interact with us much. The taxi boat driver said he was too busy to take us back to our starting point so we had to walk through the Riu lobby to make our way back to the main dock.

It was my first time doing any of these activities let alone all 3 in one day. It was a great experience with fun and knowledgeable staff members, especially Piña. I can’t wait to come back. I highly recommend!

We are so glad we did this excursion on our trip! It was cheaper and better than what was offered at our resort. The staff was all super friendly and accommodating. The marina was much closer to our hotel than on past excursions, giving us plenty of time to get back and have dinner. I'm not sure about the reviews calling it a scam. They were up front about hotel pick-up time and were available via live chat when the driver was a few minutes behind schedule. This was a very fun trip, and we would gladly book with total snorkel again!

Transportation: Pick up - Bus did not arrive on time thus I had to take a taxi to avoid missing my activities. While on the way, I got a notification of “no show” by the company. I had called 2 times to ask about the transportation status and as I got no answer nor call from the driver, I took the taxi. Turns out that bus arrived 20 minutes late. Drop off - all OK Snorkeling was great, staff was very helpful and kind - totally recommended. Jet skiing was OK - staff not that kind but just OK. Parasailing was OK - experience is great but staff was more focused on chit chat. Photo service: very expensive

Jet Ski, Snorkeling, & Parasail 4 THE WIN!

Transportation was on time, the facility was well organized and every employee was friendly and accommodating. We (2 couples) did all 3 activities, jet ski, snorkeling, & parasail. Of the 3, snorkeling was my favorite. I felt at one with the sea creatures, one fish even came up to my outstretched hand. I will definitely snorkel again. My 6’2” (300+ pound) husband loved the parasail the best. The best 5 hours well spent. Make sure you have small bills ($1.00 & $5.00 to tip the lead employees for each activity, they deserve it).

My Wife & I did all three activities ! FIVE STARSSSSSS GREAT TEAM AND THE SHUTTLE IS ON TIME. If you don't know how to swim I would recommend you to not do the snorkeling due to the water current being very strong .

Disappointing. Rushed and Unsafe!

Our snorkel instructor, Jorge, rushed us the entire time, did not provide clear instructions, and he was very unkind to beginners. No one gave instructions on what we should expect from the beginning to the end of our tour. Jorge only let us practice snorkeling for around 1 minute and he didn’t properly teach us how to use the snorkel equipment. We had trouble using the equipment during the entire experience so we ended up swallowing a lot of saltwater during the snorkeling and couldn’t breathe correctly or swim the right way due to the lack of instruction. We were unable to enjoy our experience because Jorge was rushing us and not helping us when we were having trouble snorkeling. This was our first time and we’re very disappointed in this service.

Snorkeling was very fun! We went to different areas of the ocean and saw different things! (Fish, a turtle, statues, shipwreck, cenotes) Jet ski and parasailing was good too.

It's Totally Worth It

Most amazing experience I've had in a very long time. Ricardo took us snorkeling and he was great! It was my first time (in my mind it was going to be super easy so I'm confident but it's far more challenging than it looks, I'd never used the goggles or the mouth piece before). If it were not for Ricardo I would have called it quits after the first attempt. But he was very encouraging and patient with not just me but the entire group, lol. He encouraged me not to give up and gave me pointers and training, by the end of snorkeling I was a pro, lol. I was super excited he didn't allow me to quit! If not for him I'd never have gone again, because of him I'm excited to go snorkeling again! It was also my first time jet skiing and parasailing and they were amazing experiences. Thank you again Ricardo, you are awesome!

My daughter and I did all three excursions, the parasail and jets ski were a lot of fun. We also enjoyed the snorkeling but felt it was a little rushed and didn’t like that there were a lot of other groups around snorkeling as well. Too many people in one little area. But that the most important thing was my daughter enjoyed all three so that’s what matters. I would recommend..

Snorkeling and parasailing were amazing. This was my first experience doing both and loved every minute of it. I was a little disappointed in the jet ski for the fact they gave me because I’m a woman a slowed jet ski. Aside from that everyone was nice and helpful.

Great Experience with a few Exceptions

We booked the Snorkeling /Parasailing/Jet Ski excursion with my wife and 18 year old son. Pickup at the hotel was extremely convenient. All three of the excursions had amazing guides. The only things I would change would be 1.) no organization between each excursion and we had to routinely ask where to go next and 2.) the picture prices are extremely high (which is typical), but paid for some as quality was decent and memories are important.

Poor communication and missed excursion

Horrible communication with company. They never pick up phone when calling them. Moreover, they cancel our first reservation with out any notification while we sat in the hotel lobby for over 30 minutes. We were rebooked and never received a call on my cell phone or text with a time other than 0900 departure. We were in the hotel lobby at 0900 & the transport driver already left . When we made multiple attempts to contact them no one answered the phone & had been on the phone with Viator for 45 minutes trying to contact the company.
