A walk to remember

My buddy and I had a fantastic trip with Eszter! We had just arrived in Budapest and were looking forward to a bit of history and culture in between all of our Oktoberfest shenanigans in Munich the days prior. Eszter was super personable and funny, creating a great laid back social environment for all of us. She even let me have a beer after I butchered the pronunciation of a particular building that she had us all try to pronounce in Hungarian! The beer stops were great and perfect for learning a bit and for getting to know the rest of our group (who were awesome!) Her knowledge of the city and its history was phenomenal and we would both highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a laid back evening in Budapest! Thanks Eszter!

What an amazing tour and a wonderful way to start our long weekend in Budapest. Eszter was welcoming, fun, knowledgable and a perfect host for the evening!! The history and few places we saw were fascinating and the three pubs we stopped at were full of character, great atmosphere and of course lovely beer!!! Was also really nice to get to meet the others on the tour from all round the world and Eszter did a great job getting everyone talking and feeling comfortable which made it such a good experience. Fantastic tour, fantastic host and a lovely way to start out time in Budapest!!

A group of us arranged for the Ruin Pub Walking tour with Jeanette the night of our arrival as we had never been to Budapest before. What an ideal way to become familiarized with a new city! Jeanette is professional, witty, kind and knows so many details about her city (architecture, history, public transportation, popular events, food, culture). Her English is excellent. After our Walking Tour, which took us to a few unique pubs, Jeanette recommended a wonderful nearby restaurant with traditional Hungarian food which I'm sure we never would have considered without her help. I highly recommend Jeanette as a guide in Budapest.
