Laszlo was such a wonderful tour guide, so knowledgeable and friendly. He shared a lot of Hungarian history and we weren’t rushed at all. I was exceptionally lucky with the day that I picked my hike as the snow was plentiful. But even without the snow this would have been awesome, some incredible views. I highly recommend this hike tour! 😊

Laszlo was such a wonderful tour guide, so knowledgeable and friendly. He shared a lot of Hungarian history and we weren’t rushed at all. I was exceptionally lucky with the day that I picked my hike as the snow was plentiful. But even without the snow this would have been awesome, some incredible views. I highly recommend this hike tour! 😊
Was a great day out, with plenty of areas covered. Paths and trails all very easy and nothing too rough.
Pretty hot day, but the shade of most of the paths helped, and got some great shots of Budapest from a distance.
This was a fantastic hike! As the other reviewers have mentioned, Laszlo was top notch! Interesting, fun and literally kept us moving! We saw some amazing sights. I cannot recommend this hike enough! You will not be disappointed! Thank you Laszlo for an amazing adventure!
Although I was on the easiest hike, it was still gorgeous! Laszlo was the best. He is very knowledgeable and passionate about hiking. He knows the trails and how to change routes if you need to. He was gracious in still taking me on a hike although I was the only one booked for the day. He was very patient with me lagging behind at some points and encouraged me without over doing it. I would definitely go again if I ever come back to Budapest.

We totally enjoyed the hike with Laszlo. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. He explained all the trees and flowers and fun stories about the history of the region and the people. A great break from touristy things. The hike included wonderful views of Budapest and other towns.
This was a very fun hike with Laszlo! He told me a lot about the history of Hungary, what life was like in Budapest, and a lot about nature and plants. This hike takes you to 2 great viewpoints looking over Budapest. He is extremely friendly and I highly recommend it! It is nice to get out of the city and into nature. He also recommended a lot of other things to do in Budapest.
We had a wonderful hike with Laszlo. He was very knowledgeable about the area & history as well as the forest. He even helped us with navigating our transportation to our next destination!
We highly highly recommend this hike! We had such an enjoyable time. Other than the climb up Elizabeth Tower, the hike was relatively easy. It was a perfect getaway from the busy city. Laszlo was a terrific guide. He mixed in a little bit of history with fun facts about our surroundings. He clearly has a passion for what he does! Thanks again Laszlo for a great day.

Absolutely wonderful experience!! My guide, Laszlo, was fantastic! Instructions for meeting were clear. The hike was gorgeous and the views, stunning!! Seriously, so worth the cost. I got lots of history and nature information and loved it all! Went super fast, and Laszlo even guided me purchasing a public transportation ticket and getting on my train! Super customer service! Oh, and I loved the strudel!! Highly recommend!!! 👏👏🥳🥳
This was an outstanding experience -- highly recommended. Laszlo was a phenomenal guide: his English is excellent, he's very personable, and has a wealth of knowledge about the area's flora and fauna and history.
If you've never been to Budapest, this isn't the first thing you'd do. But after you've seen the Castle district and the parliament building, etc., this is very worthwhile. Fifteen or 20 minutes from downtown on the bus, and you're in the woods, and still within the city limits. I'm no expert on ranking the difficulty of hikes, but I'd rank this on the easier end of moderate -- the hiking itself was not especially challenging, but it stretched over most of a day (there's also a shorter option that takes a slightly different route).
Wonderful experience. Learnt so much during this trip. Laszlo was knowledgeable and a wonderful guide. Enjoyed the conversations and the experience so much that the time just flew by. Recommend this hike to anyone who loves nature, walking or anyone who is just looking for a great experience in this wonderful city. Would love to come back for another hike in winter!
Laslow was an awesome hiking guide and we were lucky to have a cool group to hike with. Laslow made the day fun and interesting, he is great company to hike with. I particularly enjoyed the fact he used an app a few times to identify bird sounds. It was alot of fun!
I'd love to try out the other hikes he offers next time I'm back in Budapest! The hike itself was relatively easy (with one short scrambling bit) with beautiful views. Totally worth it

Enjoyed a walk through the Buda hills passing several areas of interest and view points and the guide gave real meaning and story all along the way.

I was lost and late and my wonderful guide waited for me, took a slower pace for me throughout the hike, showed me incredible history, introduced me to new foods, awarded me with a certificate of completion and even took me back to my area so I would get lost again.

I thought this hike was wonderful and provided just the right mix of challenge and reward. It included climbing the Elizabeth Tower - the highest point in the whole city, with incredible views. Our guide, Laszlo, was so interesting too, pointing out all sorts of historic and wildlife details as we walked through the forest. The hike was a perfect complement to the bustling city experience which is most visitors only experience of Budapest.
Laszlo was excellent. It was a wonderful hike. He was so knowledgeable about the area, the hiking trails and mushrooms. We had a great hike up to the lookout. I would recommend this hike. We were a few minutes late due to an issue with the metro but he waited for us and was most accommodating. We got a nice certificate at the end for completing the hike.
The guide was good company and provide great informations. The trail was easy. Great views from the lockouts.

We loved our scenic hike in the hilly area we didn't even know was in Budapest! Laszlo was a fantastic guide, he brought interesting information and was able to go at a smooth pace for us! The paths were easy to manage and the scenery was grand.
Even taking the bus to the trails was fun with Laszlo, our lunch was fantastic and something we had read about but not found while we were in the City.
We were blessed to have our hike on the best day of the year, not to hot not to cold and very little mud. Laszlo also took some pictures for us and sent them on so we cold share with our family!
