My favorite experience of my entire trip and my whole group would say the same. Definitely tight spaces and need to be in good shape it’s tiring. The tour guide Melinda was amazing and guided everyone to make it easier too. She had so much knowledge of cave touring and of this specific one which made you feel so comfortable. 10/10 would recommend and Melinda was AMAZING.

Definitely the best tour I have ever tried! The instructor was very funny but professional. The caving experience was quite physically demanding but a wonderful experience! Oh please don’t wear white sneakers as they only provide clothes but not shoes for the tour.

Szilárd, our amazing guide, showed us seashell fossils, told cave stories, squeezed through tiny tunnels like Spider-Man, turned into “Santa” with chocolate, and even sang a Hungarian folk song. We went about 50 metres underground, while the deepest parts reach around 100 metres for advanced cavers.
Side information: I have difficulty in finding the meet up point. Luckily the coach came to search for me. I have added a picture to showcase the meet up location. It is the second floor of the building.

LOVED this caving tour. It was my fiance and I’s first caving experience. Going in, I was excited and she was scared. It was very fast paced and high energy with TIGHTTTT squeezes and I loved every second of it. My fiance would say she enjoyed it but was nervous. If you want high adrenaline caving than this is the pick. If you want slow paced and mostly walking then pick something else.

It was definitely one of the high lights of our trip ! My 50th birthday challenge and was great fun ,fantastic leader ,talked me through the gabs . There was one section which was very very tight and didn’t think I could make it through,but got out alive! lol

The Adventure Caving Experience in Budapest was a blast! It was physically challenging but incredibly rewarding, we had so much fun crawling, climbing, and squeezing our way through the underground cave system. If you're into adventure and don’t mind getting a bit dirty, this is definitely something to add to your list.
One suggestion: while the booking info does mention that you shouldn't be very overweight, we think it would be more helpful if they listed specific body measurements (in cm or inches). My nephew, who’s built like an American football lineman—strong and fit—was right on the edge of being able to fit through some of the tighter sections. A little more detail upfront would help people know what to expect.
That said, the guides were great, we got some awesome pictures, and the whole experience felt well-organized and safe. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a real underground adventure in Budapest!

Crawling through the network of caves and caverns led by the energetic and legendary David, this was by far my favourite activity in Budapest! From the tight squeezes to slides, rock scrambles and camo crawling, this cave has all the elements of an epic underground adventure.
I'd highly recommend to visit the thermal baths after doing this tour to release and relax your muscles as you will be sore!

We only had 3 days in Budapest and nothing booked other than walking around and experiencing the city (and this activity).
Super thankful we took the plunge and did this! It was so much fun, really pushed our limits and good exercise.
Highly suggest, super friendly guide and a great way to connect with people from other parts of the world and work together throughout the cave system.

Amazing experience! But be aware, there is a moderate level of physical fitness absolutely required, the more the better. You will be army crawling, not even on hands and knees through parts. Some passages require pretzeling your body into specific configurations to fit through a keyhole. And it’s fairly continuous. We were underground at least two hours.
All that said, our party consisted of ages 20-55 and everyone made it through.
It’s the best caving tour I’ve ever taken, hands down.

Fantastic trip all round. Unfortunately missed my bus and they were kind enough to wait for me with no hard feelings. Tour guide was brilliant, had us all laughing the whole time. Quite difficult at times with tight squeezes which was exactly what I was hoping for! 10/10

Absolutely recommend experience of caving!
It was educational & fun. In particular the ‘lights off’ together with that absolute quiet underground are an experience you can only make while caving.
Laszlo calls the cave his 2nd home - be prepared he has some fun challenges at hand.
We absolutely enjoyed this experience and put some caving close to home on our bucket list.

We really didn’t know what to expect, but all of the reviews were good, so we decided to give it a try. We are so glad that we did! Yes, it was scary at times, but Lazlo was so wonderful about explaining ahead of time what to expect. There were some tight spaces, a couple of mini panic attacks, and lots and lots of smiling. Take your phone. You’ll be amazed at some of the spaces you go through. And you’ll want the proof! BOOK THIS EXPERIENCE!

Fantastic and unique experience. Laszlo was an excellent guide, I confided I was nervous in small spaces and he was very kind and reassuring and went above and beyond to make sure we all felt safe, whilst educating us about the caves. It is a moderately active experience, as there is crawling/crouching and very small degree of climbing involved, but as someone who is not a fitness gal, it was absolutely fine, if a bit challenging in some places, but that's part of the fun! I recommend sticking to a t-shirt and leggings as you will get very warm in the caves, and you get overalls but will get dirty regardless. Highly recommend, my friends and I had a great time :)

I didn't quite know what to expect and ended up enjoying the caving despite finding it a bit scary at times. The guide was extremely confident and could give alternative routes although we did have 1 tight squeeze. Told lots of great stories about the caves. Highly recommended

Such a fun experience! I wasn’t sure what to expect as some reviews talked about how tight some fit the spaces got but I honestly never felt unsafe. There are definitely some tight squeezes but never to the point where anyone in the group got stuck or any thought they actually might. You just listen to guides and they will walk you through it. Fair warning, your knees are going to bruised and sore afterwords. Other than that suck a great experience

Really great tour - be prepared, it gets tight and physically challenging, but if you have motivation and stamina for 2.5 hours, its well worth it! Laszlo is a great guide, who has been touring the caves since the 1980s, and his passion and care for these caves are tangible!

This was my first caving experience, and it couldn’t have gone better. Our group ranged from 12 years old to 40 years old. The technical difficult is moderate as there will be times to crawl in tight spaces, but it was very claustrophobic or strenuous overall - it was perfect. It was great to learn that the cave was man made, so it was crafted perfectly to maximize a fun experience. I’ve been to Budapest twice, and this experience has been the most memorable.

It was a fun trip! Our tour guide Viktor was super funny and informative and the caving itself was exciting and difficult enough to be fun/challenging but not enough to be way too tiring. Would definitely recommend it for those who want an interesting activity to do in Budapest.

Wow, what a once in a lifetime experience! Our guide was so passionate about caving and the history of the caves, we got so much information and learnt so much whilst going round.
Me and my partner are young, active people and the others in the group were of a similar age and ability, so we were well challenged in the caves, taking all the hardest routes. It was very physically demanding, and the spaces are incredibly tight, squeezing through one body part at a time and jumping over/across rocks. If you’re fit and don’t mind tight spaces, it literally is an experience you can’t miss.
Although, our guide did say there were plenty of easier alternate routes if any of us needed to, and she monitored our ability as we went round.
Some tips… it is warm down there, you don’t think it will be, but under our overalls we just had a t-shirt on and still got pretty sweaty. Also, bring some gloves. These aren’t provided and I would have benefitted for some to help with grip and stop my hands getting sore (some thin gardening gloves or agricultural ones).
Overall, it was one of the best experiences of my life, I enjoyed it far more than I could ever have expected and would recommend it highly to anyone wanting to do something like this.

I had an absolutely amazing experience. Upon arriving, I was greeted with a warm welcome. Our guide gave us a briefing on what to expect and our equipment. While I felt in safe hands, I was pleasantly surprised by how adventurous our tour was. Expect to be on your hands and knees a lot. During the experience, you will take breaks while the guide gives information about the cave. This honestly worked out perfectly for me because you'll likely want to take small breaks between tricky sections. The activity itself was amazing, but I also loved how enthusiastic our guide was. I don't typically leave reviews, but this was 100% deserved!

You could feel safe and comfortable all the way, moreover if some parts were hard the guide had options to bring you from more comfortable route!

Amazing experience 10/10 we loved every second of this. It will push your limits at times and you may think there is no way you can do it but our guide was AMAZING and supported all of us every step of the way. We laughed ALOT and have stories for a life time. Just do i it you won’t regret it. WARNING: this is a physical activity and you will have to shove yourself through small holes. If you are larger or outta shape it may not be the activity for you.
