Wonderful out of city excursion!

Our guide was Very knowledgeable about the area and the culture. Answered many questions. Accommodating, easy personality and likeable. The tour itself was educational but a bit rushed. Could have used more time at the Eger Castle to really explore the other exhibits. The UNESCO site was wonderful. Hungarian countryside is lovely.

The excursion is great combination of the UNESCO site Holloko and we had 2 hours in Eger . We spent 1.5 hours at the castle and some time walking in the old town before returning to Budapest. We really enjoyed our day. Our guide Richard was excellent and his driving was also excellent.

A Must Do Tour In Hungary!

Absolutely loved this tour! Peter, our tour guide explained the history of the castle and Holloko very well. We had a lovely authentic lunch at a family-owned restaurant that made you feel you were eating a meal that people 300 years ago were eating. Eger castle was a great walk thru in time. A must do tour!

The tour was excellent! Richard was a great guide and picked us up right from our hotel. Hollókő and Eger were great, the castle and town were beautiful, and we were able to find some nice things in the shops. We definitely recommend the tour and plan to take the tour again in the summer when the village is more active. Great experience overall.

Richard was a great tour guide. The Holloko village was a nice place to visit. The second site Eger had a lovely town square, but the castle was a disappointment, just a rebuilt wall, the foundation brick of an old church. We had entry to the castle covered, but the movie was extra, which is crazy at the price of the tour. The 2 locations were quite a long way from Budapest and each other. We aren’t shoppers so this is not a tour I would do again.

What to say about an amazing day with Richard! He was on-time, knowledgeable, accommodating and genuinely concerned to show our family a fantastic day at two remarkable sites. Peter was an excellent guide. He was so knowledgeable about the area and the history of the area. Took us to the town of Eger where we got to explore the town and the castle. After we drove to Holloko, a cute little historic town. We had ample time for wandering, shopping and eating. Excellent experience in a beautiful country.

This place is almost 'fairy tale' like. Quaint and warm houses invite you to visit. I absolutely loved the place and our tour operator was probably the best guide I ever had. He was very knowledgeable and it was just a great time. After the day, my girlfriend and I bought him lunch in a local restaurant just to show our appreciation....

リチャードは、運転しながらのガイドさんでした。終始落ち着いて穏やかに接してくださいました。こちらが特に英語は堪能ではないので、よりわかりやすい英語を使ってゆっくり説明くださった印象です。エゲルの歴史についての展示物が豊富でしたが，効率よく周り、説明が聞けました。教会の変遷、城を守るための数々の武器と城砦のつくり、地下道等等。世界遺産の村ホッケロー村の買い物に没頭してしまい、時間がかなり超過してしまいました。お詫びしながら、感謝を伝えたいと思います。
