If you love cats, this is a must not miss. The cats are chilled, happy, healthy and well and truly pampered. Some will even come on your lap. Lots of information. Highly recommend

Cats are very relaxed and friendly. When we visited they mostly slept, I don't know if it's a part of daily routine, but I would suggest going after 3pm when they wake up and are more active to fully enjoy their company.

Sweet little place, nice people running it. Cats seem content and happy. If you are a true cat lover you might get a bit annoyed with how your fellow guests treat the cats in an attempt to get instagram photos! But the owners look after them very nicely

This was a nice little experience, we did the 5pm slot. There were some cute kitties there lazing around that you could pat, and also also some interesting facts and activities there. Would recommend if you would like a cute little cat experience and some relaxed vibes

Went at 17:00, so I expected the cats to be over it by then, but many cats were out and about. I was able to pet quite a few. Information placed throughout the museum. I would recommend this to people who love cats.

Well, I adore cats. Each meeting with any cat for me is amazing. But this museum does not have too much to offer. But in a city where you don't see stray cats, this place can be a small heaven. Anyway, the staff, human and feline, are very kind, sweet and welcoming.

Must see if you love cats. Or if your partner loves cats! Lots of interesting facts to be discovered here. Every kind of cat art on display. Cats were mostly very docile during our visit but they can be playful too.

Visiting the Cat Museum in Budapest was the most unique part of my trip! It’s a quirky and charming museum that celebrates the history of cats in art and culture. You can definitely tell the passion behind the collection. A must-see for cat lovers! Oh, and the cats themselves are also fantastic!

I absolutely loved my visit! I’m honestly baffled by some of the negative reviews here. The exhibition was beautiful and the cats were a delight—most of them were visible and active during my time there. I even got to play with Simba, who was especially charming!
What really stood out to me was the patience of the staff. I noticed that some visitors needed frequent reminders about the rules (which are clearly in place for the cats' wellbeing). It can’t be easy managing so many different people.
The complimentary drink was a lovely touch—it’s clearly mentioned on signs throughout the museum, so I don’t understand how people could miss it. On top of that, we were even given treats to feed the cats, which they absolutely loved! All the cats gathered around excitedly, and it was such a joy to see them so engaged and happy.
All in all, it was a fantastic experience, and I’d happily return. Highly recommended for true cat lovers!

I loved this place. The kitties are all friendly. It was cool ( temperature) inside and a welcome reprieve from the extreme hot weather and appreciated the complimentary cup of coffee. Worth a visit if you like cats!

Seeing the cats was amazing they were so many and they were all simply gorgeous!
Unfortunately we were not offered a beverage which was included in the booking and did not know the tour was audio which was a little disappointing

We had high hopes but unfortunately were slightly let down. The ‘Museum’ is very small, made up of two rooms on separate floors and could do with a little TLC to make it feel a bit nicer. The cats were cute but clearly they are used to a lot of people coming in each day as they are not really interested in anyone unless the bag of treats comes out but hey, everyone who knows cats knows that they are their own personality so can’t fault the museum there.

Cats aren’t really my thing, more of a dog lover… however I thought I would check this out and I found it quite fun,, good to see different species of cats and they are super friendly so had abit of a play, if you’re a cat fan you would love this, only criticism is, few more cats need👍
