What a day! The beer spa was sublime experience. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Felt very relaxed. The other spa areas (inside) were quiet busy and the steam room smelt a bit strange so I avoided. But the decor and architecture on the inside is not to be missed. As the weather was warm for early April, we were blessed to enjoy the outside spa area for a few hours. Again, busy as it was a weekend and Easter, but we found a lounger in a quiet corner. I loved the adventure pool with the whirlpool walk around and the water fountains. I am not a lover of water so for me to say that it must have been special. At the end of the visit, I felt refreshed, relaxed and pampered. The changing areas are good and you can pay for a personal cubicle which I would recommend so you can change easily and secure your belongings better. If you can take your own towel, as otherwise you will have to pay Euros10 for a towel but...you can keep them, if you can get them in your suitcase home. They were pristine and looked new - pure white and clean.

What a beautiful day traveling to the country side. Julianna picked us up promptly at our hotel and was very cheerful . My sister and I loved the wines at the first wine celler and it felt so cozy and at home talking to the owner. The second winery served us a tasty Hungarian stew with barley pasta. Soooo yummy. I highly recommend.

This tour might seem expensive but it is worth every penny. We were met in our hotel reception by our driver/guide Arkos who was extremely friendly and guided us to our beautiful BMW 7 Series vehicle with complimentary water which was very welcome. Absolutely luxurious vehicle and very clean and comfortable. We advised that on previous days we had already been to a number of places listed on the itinerary and he explained that as this was a private tour we could decide where we wanted to go. We wanted to spend the most time on Buda side as we love history. Fortunately Arkos has a degree in history and his knowledge and enthusiasm in sharing this knowledge was outstanding and made the tour so much more interesting. He was genuinely happy to be showing us around and he so loved his job. An absolute gentleman and scholar. He took us to places that you would never find on your own. A reflection of his local knowledge having been born and bred in Budapest. We ended our tour on the Pest side of the city which gave us ideas as to where to visit the next day. The four hour duration went very quickly and we wished that we had booked for longer. Great that we could pick our own itinerary and how much time we spent in each location. Thoroughly recommend this company and especially Arkos as your guide / driver.
