We had a great tour of Potsdam and the palaces with Roshana. She was a wonderful tour guide with great stories which made the trip well worthwhile. Cannot say enough great things about it.

August 30th, with Roshana. It was an amazing experience. She is a fantastic guide with deep knowledge of the history and places we visited.

This was an excellent day trip and I was blown away by some of the things we saw. We went on a nice warm day (20th August 2026) and our guide Roshana was extremely knowledgeable.

We were not able to contact our tour guide and they didn’t show up for the tour. Trying to contact Viator for the dispute but they have not been helpful. Do NOT RECOMMEND

Tour was canceled
We rushed to the meeting point to be there at 10 only to find out the tour was cancelled due to poor attendance. No notice had been given

In addition to the tour, this was a great way to get oriented with public transportation right after a flight. Definitely got my steps in.
The tour itself was quite nice. Miguel was quite knowledgeable. He was also very attentive. Wonderful experience!

Our guide Katia was well-informed, helpful and looked after us very well. We thoroughly enjoyed this walking tour and would recommend it.

We had a very informative guide who did not rush us through anything. Katia was very engaging with the group on the tour

Trains, city buses and lots of country and city walking. It’s a busy day but I highly recommend. Our guide, Patrick, did an amazing job, and frequently checked in with everyone to make sure they were moving a comfortable pace. Free time in downtown Potsdam for lunch and shopping before going to the palace. Beautiful city well worth visiting.

An excellent way to journey a little out of Berlin, by train through the Grunwald and by lakes, too. The history in Potsdam is significant and visually interesting, even beautiful.

I booked this tour on July 16th with Katia, she was excellent! The pace of the day was good and she was very knowledgeable about the locations we visited. Highly recommend.

Lovely tour! Roshana was very knowledgable and made it so easy to see the sights outside of main Berlin! Would recommend as a solo traveller.

Roshana lead a wonderful & insightful tour today. Tour had lots of walking and it is in the tour name but the heat today made it a little rough at times, It was hot today (30C) so just be prepared. I appreciated the off the beaten path sights and the beautiful walk along the nature paths & lake. We saw several UNESCO heritage’s sites along the way ending at palace gardens. Which is where our tour ended. I choose to hang out in Potsdam longer and experience a few of the sites on my own after the tour was over. Unique tour, good exercise, beautiful sights, I learned a few things and feel like I earned my beer today.

We had a lovely tour with Patrick. He was knowledgeable and engaging. The tour started at a youth hostel that has a wc in the basement. Patrick helped us purchase ABC tickets for our journey. Pottlsdam was absolutely lovely. The gardens and homes were stunning. It was so nice to be on a tour and not have to figure out where to go. Patrick had interesting commentary along the way. We saw the outside of structures and walked through the gardens. We did not enter the buildings. We had a break in the middle when we could eat lunch and shop. After the break we walked to the Sanssouci Palace and enjoyed the views, grounds and Patrick's commentary. We then had a choice to stay in Pottsdam or return via train to Berlin. We left Pottsdam around 4. If it hadn't been so hot, many of us may have stayed longer. Pottsdam is a lovely town with interesting places to eat and shop. I highly recommend this tour especially with Patrick as your guide.

Our guide Katja was very attentive to the group’s comfort on a hot day. She had vast knowledge of the German kings and shed light on what their lives were like. Katja made the history of the Potsdam Conference come alive with little known stories. This was a perfect tour for history and culture lovers. Potsdam is a gorgeous town.

We really enjoyed our tour with Patrick, wandering through the parks and Potsdam. The palace was great and we stayed behind after the tour and went through the Palace and made our own way back.

Katia was an excellent guide. Very knowledgable and helpful. Interesting content. Well paced. Thank you

Patrick was a great tour guide who facilitated the tour seamlessly. He is very knowledgeable and provided very comprehensive historical info the entire day. We also found him very personable and accommodating, helping us navigate the most expeditious train route back to our hotel! A lovely person. We also had quite a few laughs! I highly recommend this tour. Be aware there is quite a bit of walking but all flat terrain.
Roger_W, Jun 2026
Our guide Patrick was exceptional. He was very aware of the needs of the group and managed the pace accordingly. He really knew his stuff about Potsdam and everything it had to offer. I would highly recommend this tour and I highly recommend you ask for Patrick if you have the chance.

Our guide did not show so our tour was merged with another tour and another tour provider. The guide was unprepared for our tour so any photos or supplemental information was viewed on his cell phone with a severely cracked screen. We were supposed to have free admission to several sites with one hour access to each. None of this happened. We were shown the marble palace in the distance and told if we wanted to see it we could come back on our own. We walked to two other sites that were closed so we saw the grounds but that was all. Finally, we were taken to the San Soucci Palace and told this was our last stop and we could enter after paying for the price of the ticket. The itinerary stated that all admissions were free. Nothing on the itinerary was as represented.

It requires a fairly good level of fitness as there is quite a lot of very pleasant walking, mostly level ground.
Peter_B, May 2026
Katia is an exceptional guide. She is so knowledgeable on history, architecture, and sopassionate about the places we visited that time flies. Thoroughly conversant in English and with an interesting back story
Christine_C, May 2026
Katie was our guide and she was wonderful, she was knowledgeable about the history and very helpful to guide us home after the tour. I highly recommend this tour if you visit Berlin.
Stacia_L, May 2026
This was an absolute scam. We booked in advance, arrived at the location 30 minutes early. There was no direction as to where to go or who to look for. We waiting until 5 minutes before our tour was to start. We were then notified that our guide left. Someone else with his company gave us the guide’s number. We tried several times to call the guide and the company. No one answered. Not only would I not book this trip if I were you, after years of using Viator, I would not recommend this site. They will not provide a refund.

Lots of walking but definitely worth it
Our guide was amazing
Knew his stuff and catered for our every need
Emelita_F, May 2026
This is an excellent trip that mostly covered all of Potsdam and Sanssoucci. Roshana is a great guide. Very knowledgeable and upbeat. She is very helpful in guiding us throughout the trip especially in acquiring train ticket. We love our guide♥️
Jennifer_H, May 2026
No inside visits of buildings; only outside. Did not see New Palace except from a distance with trees covering most of it. Overall, it was great to see the city and the beauty of the nature around it. Takes over an hour to get there and back. Roshana was my guide and she was a hoot. Very entertaining
Ryan_P, May 2026
Roshana was a great tour guide! We had a fantastic trip seeing a great deal of memorable sites outside of Berlin that we may never have had the opportunity to see.
