There was no pizza; instead we got t voucher for 2 (!) euros. The open mic night was very much untested material and for the most part really quite bad; beware of this possibility on thursdays. I would really only recommend this to younger people out to get drunk and ready to laugh at anything.

Hey hey Lena, thank you for taking the time to review us. I am sorry that you were not informed at the door that pizza was not available due to our pizza supplier having technical difficulties. We decided to give everyone a discount token as an apology; even though the pizza is a FREE add on, so we didn't really have to do that. As for your review of the actual show, Open-Mic shows are all about untested material and new acts getting stage time. I am sorry that you did not understand this concept before you came and you expected "Live At The Apollo" standard of comedy. As for recommending just to younger audiences, we are proud of the diversity of our crowds in age as well as other things and this is why the crowds are generally so responsive at Cosmic Comedy (we don't just cater for one particular group, just for nice people really). Hoping you come and check out one of the weekend shows if you want a professional level of acts (you may even get a slice of pizza). All the best, The Cosmic Team

Funniest night in Berlin

What a funny evening. Great host, great comedians. Great drinks and pizza. You're safe to sit at the front as no one gets roasted. Would definitely recommend for anyone visiting Berlin to go here. I'll be back, next time I visit Berlin.

Not your average Open Mic Night

Neil was an excellent MC who kept things moving along with his material between each comedians set time and ensured that they stayed within the allotted time. Pizza was great and the shot was smooth - a nice surprise. The line up of comedians was impressive and none of them were bad. Interesting perspective offered by all the comedians who are not originally from Berlin. Other reviewers have pointed out that the folding chairs are old and need to be replaced.

This was a booking for Cosmic Comedy - English Comedy Show. It takes place in the basement of Belushi's on Rosa-Luxemburg-Strasse three times a week. We went on Thursday evening and, having consumed a couple of drinks upstairs, we took our glasses downstairs and - after partaking of a free shot - we joined the audience. There is a small bar in the Club, with craft beers being promoted. Pizza arrived soon afterwards - all were vegetarian and were delicious. The stand-ups were a mixed bunch it styles itself as an open mic night, but what really made the evening a success was the host on the night - Dharminder Singh - who was funny and worked hard to build up the acts. The whole atmosphere was friendly and inclusive. We had a really enjoyable night out, and it wasn't expensive. Recommended for anyone who likes a laugh and a drink.
