It was an amazing experience. Anita was so welcoming in her home. She has such a passion for cooking and takes her responsibilities very seriously to ensure there are no food safety issues. She prepared an amazing antipasto platter with fresh meats and cheese in addition to cooked peppers and a mixed vegetable dish and fresh homemade bread. This class exceeded our expectations and we would highly recommend it. This is by far the best meal we ate on this trip and it was nice that we had a hand in the preparation of the 2 pastas and the tiramisu. We will look back fondly on this experience as a highlight of our trip to Bari.

This was the best way to get to know genuine local cuisine in Bari. We were graciously invited into Annarita’s home, joined by her daughter and mother, and cooked a delicious asparagus pasta (with orecchiette) and tomato sauce. Homemade focaccia, bruschetta, potatoes, wine, limoncello, and more were provided. It was clear so much care and attention were put into preparing for this meal. The family were so kind and made us feel so welcome into their home, taught us some new dishes, and made this such a special part of our trip.
Great experience to try tasty and authentic Italian dishes. The location for this experience was wonderful! The host and her family made us feel so welcome.
It’s been a year since our trip and this night still stands out as one of the most unforgettable! I can’t believe it’s taken me this long to write a review! We felt so welcomed to Cesarine’s home. My husband, our teenaged son and I all joined her in her kitchen. She had some things cooking already but we got to make pasta from scratch. It was truly the best meal we had in all of Puglia!! By the end of the nice, Cesarine had treated us to so many courses, we couldn’t even think of having breakfast the next day! It was one of the most wonderful experiences and a great way to learn more about the food and the culture. And for a teenaged boy to truly enjoy the evening, that’s saying a lot!! We still all talk about the fantastic time we had at Cesatine’s!

Such a fun, family experience, we loved being welcomed into Barbara's home, the food was sensational, the company even better. It was a fantastic way to end our trip to Italy!
We had a lovely experience with Juanita learning to make, cook and eat various pastas. We met at her home with another couple and cooked together with Juanita who obviously loves and is an expert in what she does. So friendly and such a great way to spend an evening on holiday. We also made a proper traditional Tiramisu- was delicious
This was a fantastic class! Fernanda and her sister Sarah were great instructors! We learned to make orecchiette and they used seasonable vegetables. One of the best meals we had the whole time! We made tiramisu as well which was amazing! Very authentic class and right in her home!
My husband and I loved our experience! Our instructor was very kind and patient with us as we learned how to make the tiramisu and the pasta. She prepared a wonderful meal for us after too!
I wish I there was a 10 star rating! Christiana was such a wonderful person! This is a true hands on experience! We learned lots of great techniques to make pasta & tiramisu. After we all sat down & ate together. Her & her mother made 2 types of delicious sauces, zucchini frittata, bruschetta, along with bread & wine. It was an experience of a lifetime!!

The cooking class with Fernanda and her family was great! They were super nice and felt like at home with a warm hugging food.
What was bad, was the location 36 minutes by car from Bari revealed after the payment. This was pretty shocking for us because we booked the class because it was supposed to be in Bari. Cesarine arranged the transport for us, but it was 50 eur more than. The attitude of the service provider was insane. Like there might be a public transport or taxi...but it means more money and more time for the transport.
I would recommend only because of Fernanda and only on your way to Matera having a car.

A must do experience in Bari to learn the ins-and-outs of Apuglian cuisine from talented local cooks. Cristiana & her mother were such kind and helpful hosts. It was a very hands-on experience in their kitchen. They taught me how to make 3 types of pasta & tiramisu from scratch with best local ingredients. The wine & appetizers were phenomenal and the pasta was the highlight of my trip. Cristiana was very patient & sweet, took photos of me cooking, & even drove me back to my B&B. I highly recommend this experience to all Italian food lovers. Great immersive cultural experience for solo travelers!!
